Persephone's POV (Whhhatttt???)

~Right after she locked Nico in the room~

I shut and locked the door and activated the switch that sprays the hallucination serum. The boy only had less than a day left anyway. Mere hours now. Might as well die thinking his lover is dead. I smiled as I headed down to the throne room. It soon faded as I saw the Son of Poseidon examining Nico's bag. He can't be here. Not now. But he'll never know where Nico is. Theres too many rooms in this palace.

"PERRRCYYYYYYYY!!!!! NOOOO!!!!!!" Nico screamed.

How the hell did he scream that loud? The stupid walls are supposed to be soundproof! Perseus' head snapped up and turned in the direction of the scream. Luckily I was hidden well. I lowly growled and hurried down to the room. I threw the door open and quickly shut and lock it before the sea spawn could have noticed.

"Nico you little ass!" I yelled at him.

He looked over at me with broken, teary eyes. Perfect. I've finally snapped him. He was weak, beat, broken, and poisoned. His death would make me look bad but he was one of many demigods. It would soon pass.

Nico's POV

She was smiling. Smiling. Why couldn't I smile? Why couldn't I be happy? My boyfriend was dead. I'm dying. My dad is still nowhere in sight.

I felt a sharp pain in my side. I felt it everywhere. I gasped and fell to my side, clutching my wound. It couldn't have been four days already. No... I looked at Percy one more time and smiled, knowing I'll die with him. But when I looked up, he wasn't there. Persephone stood over me. She gripped my chin with her hand.

"It was fake dear boy. He's not dead but he isn't coming. He won't make it on time. Your already gone." she whispered until dropping me and leaving.

Percy's alive... that's all that mattered. Something flashed through my head again. Possibly the last of the weird flashbacks. A mystery that I would never solve.

"Nico... I won't let go. I won't stop worrying. I will never stop loving you."

It was him. I heard his voice but it didn't sound familiar yet it did. But I knew it was the truth. I knew he wouldn't let go. But that doesn't mean I can't. Blackness clouded my vision as I heard the door slam open. And hear his voice for the last time.

"NICO!!" 

Percy's POV

I rushed down the hall from room to room, looking for my baby. I reached a door and it had a metal table with leather straps and a cart with some... tools... on it. The one I saw in my dream. I saw a vial with poison in it and a few bloody knifes. I ran out and went to another door, finding it locked. I kicked it and it swung open. I saw him. He was beaten, bloody, and lying on the floor. He was clutching his side and I saw the bloody marks. I saw all the bruises. I screamed his name and ran up to him just as his gorgeous, chocolate eyes turned dull and glassy. I shook him and screamed his name. He couldn't be gone. I kissed his lips, which were now colder than ever. I pulled him close to me and cried. I cried and cried until I couldn't cry anymore and I went to screaming and yelling. He couldn't be gone. Not after all the bullshit we went through. He couldn't be gone.

Hades' POV

I sensed something wrong. We were all talking on mount Olympus about a new beast rising and a quest or something. We had decided to leave Percy and Nico out of it for once though. That was when I got a cold, empty feeling. I stood up quickly and everyone turned to look at me.

"Something's happened to my son." I said before teleporting to my castle. 

I sensed death. I shook my head. He had to be alright. I couldn't lose my only son.
