Nico's POV

Percy really needed to pay attention to the road. I wish I had my 'license.' Its not like Percy had a mortal one. He had driven before but that license was for chariot and Pegasus riding. But the mortals see it as a normal license. Thank you, mist.

Anyways we were very close now. I caught a glimpse of a gold flash from the woods.

"Percy! The woods!"

He went to the side of the road. I jumped out and ran into the woods. Percy struggled to catch up, I had gotten faster. I saw the flash of gold again and took a sharp right. I saw a figure up ahead so I did the logical thing and tackled it.

"Jason?!?!"

"Nico?!?!"

"Jason?!?!"

"Percy?!?!"

"Woah woah woah... Jason. What the hell are you doing out here?" I asked him.

"Uh... the gods may have told me to kill the beast before you did. Cause I have my lightning its good projectiles." he said.

"IS MY OWN DAD DOUBTING ME NOW?" I screamed.

"Hey, calm down Nico. Jason was probably backup." Percy soothed.

Jason looked offended. "Backup? Excuse me?"

"Yeah backup, Sparky. Now shut up and let's go kill this thing." Percy said.

"Well I know where the cave is so I'll lead you two."

We nodded and followed Jason into the woods. There was always something about him. Yeah, we dated for a while but still. When we went to Camp Jupiter to rest, he actually iris messaged me and we chatted really late and I got almost no sleep, that's why the huge jump effected me so much. Anyways Jason wanted to talk about if we could ever hang out more. After we broke up he wanted to get back with me, but I kept telling him I couldn't. Percy had effected me too much. But I still had a soft spot for Jason.

I saw a couple slashes on the trees. Some were knocked down. We walked on, soon finding a clearing and a cave entrance. A golden bull walked out, snorting at us, steam coming out. It looked like an automaton. It turned its metal head towards us. The red eyes glowed and fire spurt from them. The thing looked like a bull, except it was twice the size and made of metal. Also its horns looked like glass, but sharper than our swords, and they glowed with some aura around them. The thing snorted again, before charging. We quickly dodged and drew our swords. Jason hit it with lightning, which did absolutely nothing. Percy tried getting water from a nearby pond, but that had no effect on it either. I attempted using the shadows and summoning skeletons to fight, but the bull incinerated them. I sighed. I really hoped what my dad had told me in private was a lie. I remember it so clearly.
The bull is almost invincible. Almost nothing can kill it. There are only two options. One, let the beast stab with the horns, it will greatly weaken it. Or you could find the Peripheral Blade. An ancient sword that could kill anything. Even gods. It was thrown into Tartarus along with its original weilder, Kronos. Obtain it, and you are basically invincible.

I'm glad I listened though. Cause now I knew what the name of the sword I found in Tartarus was called.
