Nico's POV

I sat next to Percy on the beach, we were having a picnic. The waves were calm and the breeze was gentle. We had a bunch of sandwiches with blue bread (I have no idea how they pulled that off) and some soda. Percy kept fiddling with something in his pocket, I don't know what though.

He took a deep breath and looked at me. "I don't know when this happened but it did, and I found the things we were both missing."

I looked at him questioningly before he pulled out two rings. The rings looked exactly how I saw them in my random flashbacks. I gasped in surprise. How was this possible? He slipped the ring onto my finger and then put his on.

"Nico... something happened that I don't remember. I know it happened but I don't know when or how. Something is going on..."

I nodded. "Something's been off. I keep getting weird flashbacks that never happened but I feel like they did. Its like we lived another life that we barely remembered."

"Yeah... You wanna go to Olympus tomorrow to see if the gods know anything?"

I nodded and laid back onto the large blanket we laid out. Something felt so off right now. Yes, I now know Percy has been experiencing what I have, but there's something else. Like a faint sense of death in the air, like someone's life is being fought over. I heard lightning cackle and the winds picked up. The shadows seemed to grow and it was darker. Percy grabbed my hand and we both nodded. We gathered up our stuff and headed inside. The gods were fighting, they were angry over something. Hades and Zeus, I guessed. What now? I thought.

Hades's POV (you're gonna know who's talking)

"I AM NOT LETTING MY SON DIE. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!"

"HE ISNT SUPPOSED TO BE ALIVE IN THE FIRST PLACE! HE WAS BORN IN THE 30s!"

"HE IS STILL MY SON! HE SHOULDNT BE DEAD! FIRST THEY GET SWITCHED TO ANOTHER UNIVERSE, THEN THIS? DONT YOU THINK THEY'VE HAD ENOUGH? IT WAS OUR FAULT THIS WHOLE MESS HAPPENED!"

"OUR FAULT? HOW WAS THIS OUR FAULT?"

"OH SORRY. YOUR FAULT!"

"WHAT?!?"

"YOU JUST HAD TO SEND THOSE TWO ON SOME DAMN QUEST TO KILL THE TIMERIUM BULL! (tie-mare-ie-um) AND THE THING BLASTS THEM INTO ANOTHER LIFE WHERE THEY COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THIS LIFE! THEY WERE NEVER SUPPOSED TO BE THERE AND NOW ITS MESSING WITH THEIR HEADS!"

"........"

"EXACTLY. SO IF YOU THINK MY SON DESERVES TO DIE AFTER ALL THE SHIT YOU PUT HIM THROUGH, THEN I WILL MAKE SURE JASON AND THALIA DONT GO TO ELYSIUM. SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT."

"Don't threaten my children like that."

"WELL DONT THREATEN MINE!"

And with that, I left.
