I despise this night,

when the day is gone and the sun's no longer upon us..

ready to shine the heinous acts we hide in the dark.

A million thoughts caress me,

ever present as the existence of time, compelling as a lovers sigh.

I think as water dance between ten toes...

It will always be the same.

A rush of temptation washes over me, holds me rigid white sand like fairy dust to my hair.

No...

I am contented again.

My thoughts will continue to be the hinges of my lust, food for my hunger.

The horizon rises, earth becoming one with sky,

Pink fire in lavender breeze, this sweet vanilla sunset lifts me heaven forth only the warmth of touch weighting me anchored.

All at once, like the thief it is, the night steals the colors of the day, from sight, And I cry with thin arms around me, saddened by knowledge, it can never be undone.

I must learn the value of patience, I must wait another day to see the ensigns of sunset, and forever...

I will despise the darkness.
