Chapter 11

Retribution's POV

I stayed at the bottom of the lake in normal form for the rest of the day, and slept there in the night, and then I felt a displacement in the water above me and I thought that it was Ash but it was that Pokemon that I had rescued in return to my capture. I watched it swim down and I realized that it was using it's powers to keep an air bubble on it's head with a constant supply of air. I smiled, this world was so much cooler than my home world, but stranger, and foreign to me still.

It finally got to the bottom of the lake and seemed to be looking around for something, and I let my body glow under the water. Outlining all of the scars that I had and the patterns of my skin and my vision gathered a slight, though normal, blue tint to them meaning that my eyes were glowing as well. It seemed to see and came this way and I got on my feet and shot in it's direction closing the distance in a couple seconds, and then hovering in the open water before it.

What do you want I said with a slight interest so that it wouldn't know that I wasn't happy at the time and it seemed to be in shock for a second before answering using telepathy as well.

I- I wanted to thank you for saving me it said and I couldn't tell if it was male of female, and I realized that it wasn't made with a mouth but just the strange form of horns on it's head and the holes in the front of it's face as it's nose.

Why were you coming over here I asked Ash told me that you hated humans because of what they made you to be I looked it over to see a slight tension in it's entire body, before relaxing and going to normal. I shot up and onto the beach with it just behind me and once I was out of the water I used my powers to dry myself off and the new Pokemon and it seemed to hover in the air for a second slowly drifting down till it's cat-like feet were on the ground. I knew what it was looking at due to the shock, but I wasn't very impressed. It was only a light grey and purple, and it made no sense at all as to why.

It seems like you were wronged by the human race as well it said and I could see it's unsaid curiosity and I smiled sadly

My scars are not from this dimension, so they do not matter to me anymore I said and it seemed to be more shocked that I was from a different dimension, and I continued and when I had been in trouble, you would've been stubborn as well and tried to help me if you were conscious, and that makes me glad that you weren't. I stretched loosing my muscles from laying on the bottom of the lake so as long as I was, and looked at the Pokemon to see that it was in a mixture of confusion, anger, and wonder.

I turned and started to open my wings, but I felt something on them and I saw that it had put it's strange, three-fingered, hand on the crook of my wing. I lowered them and it talked.

Why do you go and stay with them when all you have done is help it said and I smiled

Because where's the fun in destroying everyone every time one meets, and make them fear me for a long, long time I said shaking my head no I don't want that. I want to beat my opponents in a fair battle and I want to help others in this world grow and become stronger unless they don't deserve it. I walked out from it's reach and shot into the air before hovering and turning around to look down at it.

I suggest you do the same before your name goes down in history in fear as a long forgotten Pokemon that couldn't trust due to it not trying to gain trust of others I said and shot off towards the city to the arena, and to catch up with the others. Leaving behind the strange Pokemon now in shock and slight anger and understanding at what I said.

3rd POV

Ash, Alain, and Clemont were wandering around the city with the girls elsewhere shopping their heart's content, and Ash and Clemont were struggling in the crowd of people whereas Alain was just walking casually with people seemingly going around him like an unseen plague. The other two caught up with him finally and stood by his side and then a large speaker on a tower activated and a loud voice announced the coming Tournament.

All Pokemon and Trainers! The Kalos League's Tournaments are going to be held in the center of the city in three hours. The announcer cut off the mike and everything in the city went back to normal, but instead of being swept away with the crowd. Ash and Clemont stuck by Alain as he cut through the crowd unchallenged.

The girls eventually met them near the main cafe in the west wing of the Plaza, and shoved all of their stuff into their arms. It all went so high that it went above their heads, and they had to either bend their necks to look on the side of everything, strain to look above, or, in Ash's case. Have to follow their voices to get somewhere. The rest couple hours went by fast as they went into a break area and packed everything into their bags and stuff. Then the loudspeakers beeped again and this time the announcement was to gather the excitement about the Pre-trials and sign-ups.

All trainers and Pokemon head to the center of the city to sign up and qualify for the tournament! Spots are limited, and tickets are already being sold! Ash yelled in excitement as did his Pikachu. Alain smiled, and Ash dragged the others along with them, shooting through the crowd and to the front desks. A shadow covered the lines of people making everyone look up and shield their eyes from the sun as they tried to see the thing that had covered a good amount of sunlight. The cast shadow drew in it's wings and the shadow and the figure disappeared as the sun overtook their form.

Retribution dived in the waked of the sun's light covering him from view and then it opened it's wings last minute and 'landed' on the round making a large crater and a cloud of dust. Everyone, and their Pokemon, were taught and ready to move anything bad happened. Though nothing did, the only thing that happened was Retribuion walking out of the dust cloud and looking at the still rather short line and he got behind the forty-eighth person and their Pokemon and Ash, Alain, and the others looked at it in happiness from the line on the right.

Then everyone in Retribution's line moved out of the way and there was a clear path for Retribution, but it didn't move. Instead it's eyes flashed purple and everyone was pressed back into the line they were in, and Ash and the others looked at Retribution in confusion.

I don't want to be feared by people into letting me pass it seemed to broadcast and if I have scared you then I am sorry, but I am questionable about the rules of suck tournaments. It looked at everyone and they nodded, still slightly fearful, but glad and relieved that it wasn't going to attack them. The rest of the line went by fast, with everyone wanting to be far away from Retribution as possible, and other people were avoiding that line like the plague. Instead going to other lines and making them longer as Retribution's line became non-existent.

Retribution got up to the front counter to see that the clerk was trembling in fear because Retribution was a very fearful, and powerful Pokemon that everyone could see. It was in it's form, it's pace, stance, body, eyes, and the very feel of standing next to it was unnerving. Retribution sighed and looked over to see that Ash and the others were getting their tickets and then they walked over to the large entrance in the center and the other people stepped forwards. Retribution sighed and started to shrink and change, until he was a human with raven-black hair, sea-green eyes, tan skin, and a yellow T-shirt with the letters CHB on it. Then he put his arms on the table and grinned.

"Better?" he said

Thanks for reading and I'll have the next chapter out soon.
