Annabeth's POV:

I woke up that morning to the sound of the phone ringing, my favorite. I turned over and grabbed my cell phone, Piper was calling.

"Hello" I said groggily.

"Hey Annabeth, I know it's early but could you come meet me for coffee. I have to tell you something." Piper said sounding nervous.

"Yeah, I'll meet you at the usual place at 9:00." I said. I hung up and turned over, Percy was still asleep. I kissed his nose and got up. I walked downstairs to find my 8 year old and 6 year old watching Bubble Guppies on T.V.

"Charlie, Zoe, do you want some breakfast?" I said grabbing some bowls and cereal.

"Yes Mommy," they both replied. they both ran into the kitchen and started eating. I felt arms wrap around my waist as I started to make my own breakfast.

"Good morning beautiful." Percy said kissing my cheek. I turned around and kissed him.

"Good morning." I said.

"I have to go meet Piper for coffee can you watch the kids this morning?" I said to Percy as I was walking upstairs to get dressed.

"Sure," Percy said then he turned towards the kitchen, "Hey kids, who wants to go to the park?"

Charlie and Zoe cheered. I laughed and continued to our room. I got dressed in a pair of jeans and white V-neck shirt. I walked downstairs and drove to me and Piper's favorite coffee place.

I walked in to find Piper sitting at a table tapping her fingers.

"Hey Pipes, you okay?" I asked sitting down across from her.

"Hey Annabeth," she said. "lets get something to eat and then we can talk."

I ordered a mocha frappe with a chocolate muffin and Piper ordered a caramel frappe with a croissant.

"So talk to me," I said taking a sip of my frappe.

"Well, you know how Jason works for an electrical company."

"Yeah..." I said.

"Well, he was offered a great job in New Jersey and this kind of thing you can't turn down. So, we're moving to New Jersey," she said tapping her fingers again.

"Aw Pipes I know this may seem hard now but you will all be very happy later and Jason will have a great job and you can live somewhere away from New York. It'll all work out I promise," i said giving her hand a reassuring squeeze.

"We are leaving next week. I have been meaning to tell you but I haven't been able to. I know it doesn't seem like that big of a deal but we are now farther from camp and Meredith was just starting to make some really great friends...and a boyfriend."

I laughed. "You'll get over it. Percy and I will throw you a going away party on Saturday. I promise everything will be fine." I stood up and hugged her and then we grabbed our coffees and went next door to go shopping together.

(Percy's POV)
The party was great. Until we got to the end. I know that the Graces are only moving to New Jersey but we get together all the time and carpool with the kids. It was nice having that close demigod family. Frank and Hazel moved back to New Rome and Leo and Calypso were still traveling all over the world with Ell. The Stolls and the Rodriguezes were still around but they don't live as close as the Graces did.

When it was coming down to an end we had to say out goodbyes. Meredith and Zoe hugged each other and Meredith was leaning on her shoulder on the verge of tears. Tristan was saying goodbye to Charlie. Annabeth gave Piper a huge hug and I walked over to Jason.

"I'm gonna miss you man," I said slapping him on the back.

"I'm gonna miss you too man," he said.

"It'll be fine. Have fun in Jersey man."

"Thanks man. Hey stay in touch man," he finished wrapping me into a hug.

When we finished I looked over at Charlie and Meredith and my heart I think melted.

Charlie was holding Meredith's hands and he said,

"Hey it's all gonna be ok. I know it seems hard now but we'll get over it. We can text each other and get together a lot. I'm really gonna miss you."

"Aw Charlie I'm gonna miss you too," Meredith said. Then she leaned over and kissed his cheek. SHE JUST KISSED MY SON! Charlie looked like he might faint. Then Meredith waved at him and walked away. Ooooooo playing hard to get. I thought then mentally slapped myself. I sound like an Aphrodite girl. The Graces got into their car and drove away. I saw Annabeth walk over to Charlie with a juice box.

"Drink this," she said. It'll bring your heart rate up." I laughed.

To make ourselves feel better we made popcorn and grabbed sprites and watched Finding Nemo. We all snuggled in together. It was about 10:00 when Annabeth's phone rang.

"Hey Thalia what's up?" She answered.

"Uhhh Annabeth I have big news," Thalia answered.

"Alright lay it on me," she said.

"I need to talk to you in person. Can you meet me tomorrow sometime?" Thalia said sounding stressed.

"Yeah of course. See Ya soon bye." Annabeth hung up the phone.

"What was that all about?" I asked.

"I have no idea," she answered snugging into me.

Hahahahaha cliff hanger! Sorry but I just had to do it... Ok I feel awful I haven't updated in forever! I've been really busy with spring sports and school ending soon and stuff. Sorry about the kinda bad chapter. We just want Charlie and Meredith's relationship to switch up a bit 😏 also I want to dedicate this chapter to my best friend who also writes this story with me bc she's moving this summer and this story is called the move...I've cried so much bc I don't think I can get through life without her. We bonded over our love of Percabeth and then wattpad and now we write a story together. Okay sorry for the long authors note I just had to let that out. thanks for votes and comments and reads!
