Life Sucks, or at Least Afterlife Does

The winner of the trivia is @AgentKenobi

I am soooooooooooo sorry for being the worst author ever and completely neglecting my story, I was super busy with final exams and a lot of other stress in my life like moving and being diagnosed with depression and anxiety. Through all of that I have spent more time trying to escape from reality by looking into other peoples worlds rather then continuing with this one. I will try my best to keep up with the writing from now on, but please try to understand why its been a while.

Percy's POV

The curses beared down at us, cackling like the hyenas in Lion King when the though they had Simba for there next meal. I had fought thousands of monsters in the last five years yet nothing was quite as frightening as the literal embodiment of the last wishes of everyone (more like thing) I had ever killed, which was too many to even consider them all. Above all, I was worried about Annabeth, and the fact that she's carrying our child. The Arai started to advance their cackles getting gradually louder. I looked frantically at Bob "Annabeth" I whisper yelled, trying to get her attention without the Arai noticing "You and Bob run, I'll hold them off as long as possible, but you have to leave". She immediately started to argue before she remembered that her life was no longer just hers. She nodded grimly "I love you... I... I" Annabeth started to sob, I wanted nothing more than to comfort her but the Arai were about to overtake us. "GO" I screamed, and for once I was left to fight alone.

Annabeth P.O.V.

With joined hands Bob and I sprinted away from Percy. My entire being hurt, I knew it was the wise thing to do but I was currently feeling like a child of Aphrodite not Athena. Bob was pulling me toward his "friends" safe house at such a speed my legs had gone numb. Tears slowly streaked down my face from both Percy's impending doom and my own. Bob looked down at me "We are very close, when we get there I will go help Percy" I felt a sliver of hopeless leave knowing there's a chance Percy could live. "Thank You" I huffed out, barely able to speak from my exertion. "Let me carry you, we may go quicker" I was still a bit wary of Bob but I knew this was the best way to save Percy, so I nodded and was quickly hoisted upwards. A few minutes later I saw a slightly house resembling pile of bones. "Bob, is.. that.. it.?" I pushed out, frowned but grumbled out a yes. "Put me down, go help Percy, I can go from here". Bob put me down and started to speak, "No!" I shouted "Go now, I can protect myself". Bob seemed reluctant to leave but did so anyway, leaving me to walk alone into the unknown. I was terrified, and that was before I heard that bloodcurdling shreak.
