So this is the first chapter. Enjoy!
Percy
"Percy, I don't have time for you. How many times should I repeat that? I'm busy on the Apollo statues. So-".
Annabeth was cut off by Percy, "You have told that to me a million times this week. 'I can't hang out with you. Ares asked me to do this, and Zeus asked me to do that", he said angrily, mimicking her voice. Annabeth looked at him with no particular emotion in her eyes. She sighed and looked back at her blueprints, then frowned.
"Percy", she said tightly. "Where is my pencil?". Percy Jackson's eyes widened. Gods. "Annabeth", he replied using the same tone. "I just came in five minutes ago. And I've been standing at the doorway since then. So you can't blame me fo-". "Get out!", Annabeth shouted. "You're a nuisance. A pain in the-!".
She hadn't even finished her sentance before Percy stormed out, slamming the cabin door shut.

Someone nudged Percy during his dream-less sleep. "Pshh. Wake up, Seaweed Brain", a voice said. His first thought, Annabeth!. He opened his eyes immediately to find... Leo grinning at him.
Percy groaned. "So the Annabeth charm does work", Leo said. Percy rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and focused on the other figures standing in his cabin. Jason, Piper, Frank, Hazel and Nico. "Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday. You smell like cow poo, and look like one too", they chanted. He glared at them, before laughing.
A thought jarred him up. "Where's Annabeth?" He asked to no one in particular. His friends lowered their heads in harmony. "She didn't come, Percy", Jason murmured. His stomach flipped. Annabeth hadn't... Come. On his birthday. Why? Suddenly, something took over him.
"Oh, she would be busy with her work. Oh, that poor, poor girl", he drawled and ended with a dramatic sigh. Frank raised and eyebrow uncertainly. "Percy, what do you mean....?", he trailed off. Percy gave a big, booming laugh and everyone stumbled back in surprise. "You see, friends, my girlfriend has been quiet busy making statues and stuff for the Olympians. So she's ignoring me. I'm really, really sorry for not telling you that",he added sarcasticaly. Something heavy settled on his heart. He lowered his head and fought back a sob.
She hadn't come.

"Percy, where are my blueprints?"
"I. Don't. Have. Them!"
"You're a liar".
"I swear I don-"
"You're a liar and a thief!"
"For Zeus' sake, I... I just came in"
"Get out"
"Annabeth... I understand tha-"
"You don't understand anything! Now, get out, you thief"
"As I was saying, I know that you're very busy. But how about you take a break? Just for about ten minutes, okay?"
"No!"
"CAN YOU STOP THIS BEHAVIOUR? IGNORING ME FOR TWO WEEKS AND... AND NOT EVEN COMING TO SAY A 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY'! I NEVER EXPECTED THIS FROM YOU!".
Thud!
*********
Percy felt horrible. He shouldn't have shouted at her and then storm out.
He sat on Zues' Fist. The heavy rain and thunder seemed to reflect his mood. Annabeth was probably never going to talk to him again. He had just made matters worse. He gave an annoyed yell and ran a hand through his wet hair, frustrated with himself. He cursed again and again, in Ancient Greek and the modern English ones. Gods... This situation was even more horrible than Tartarus, and that was saying a lot.
Percy lied down on the uneven surface. His throat bobbed. Tears threatened to spill.
He never knew that loving was this hard.

"Percy", a voice whispered. The place was black and he staggered around. "Percy!", the voice of Nico Di Angelo came, no longer a whisper. "Nico?", Percy said into the darkness. "Where are you? What is this place?".
"Calm down", was the reply. "This is your dream. I have this sort of power, you know. Um... How about you hear me out?". Percy sent out a positive reply. "Good. I... Um, I have this feeling that...That Annabeth doesn't love you anymore".
"What?!", Percy yelped, horrified, transfixed in place. "That can't be true", he continued, his voice shaking. "We have gone through so much together. Tartarus, holding up the sky and so, so much else. She woul-".
"It's the only logical explanation, Jackson! She's been ignoring you for such a long time. It could be possible. No one ignores their significant other because of work! Believe me, it's the tr-"
"Get out of my dream!", Percy bellowed. And he chanted it, until his world became white.
His first thought. Ouch! His back hurt. Sunlight blinded him. He realised he was lying on solid ground. Last night's memories came back. He had slept outside the Athena Cabin in hope that Annabeth would come out for breakfast and see him. Then he would apologise. He got up and leaned against the cabin's surface.
His watch showed that it was two in the afternoon. Percy had missed breakfast. Great. Even greater than that, Annabeth hadn't taken notice of him. (Neither had any of the Athena kids). He got up slowly, then stretched and yawned. A couple of girls nearby saw him and giggled. He blushed.
He would give Annabeth some time. It was decided. Freshening up came next. Before Percy could, he started feeling sick. Bile rose up in his mouth. He walked, then started running, then sprinting all the way to his cabin. He opened the door of Poseidon Cabin so hard it's hinges almost broke. He rushed to the toilet and threw up, thankfully, in the basin. Bracing his hands against it, he took huge breaths. Bile rose up again and he vomited it out.
His stomach hurt like hell. Again and again, he threw up. Once everything in his stomach had been cleared, he rinsed his mouth. Percy looked up at the small mirror and used his hand to wipe the foggy surface.
His hair was as messy as always. In his opinion, his green eyes had lost it's sheen. He was pale, most probably because of the vomiting. He staggered out, feeling weak. Instead of lying on the bed, Percy walked out of his cabin and suddenly felt an addiction to take a walk in the woods.
That was his biggest mistake.
He recieved a few greetings. On the way, Jason stopped him and grabbed his shoulders. "Woah, man! What happened to you? Why ar-". Percy shoved him and continued to walk towards the dark place he was headed to, ignoring Jason's questions. He didn't follow him, though.
Once in, he walked deeper and deeper into the trees. Suddenly a wave of nausea took over him. His vision turned yellow, then green. He put all his weight against a tree.
Too late he heard the growl.
Percy jumped out of the way just before his head got eaten by a Hellhound. Jumping wasn't exactly the most wise choice. He fell on the ground and almost blacked out. A part of him wanted to rest there. Another part of him was saying, Get up, idiot! He scrambled to get up. By the time he got up, Riptide was in sword form. The Hellhound got in a pouncing position, growling. Percy raised his sword.
It pounced.
Percy couldn't even slash his sword. He felt sick to the stomach. His arms were too weak. The Hellhound slammed him into the ground. Percy kicked up with all the strengeth he had. No effect. The Hellhound slashed one of it's paws into his shoulder. He yelled in pain. His entire left arm seemed to be on fire.
The Hellhound slowly pulled it's head towards his for the kill. This is how I die, Percy thought. The defeater of Kronos, killed by a Hellhound. Then the image of his friends flashed in his mind. Suddenly, he didn't want to die. Riptide was still in his right hand.
Percy gave a defiant yell and thrust his sword up, eyes closed, fingers crossed. A second passed. His left arm still hurt like Tartarus. He dared to open one eye. No Hellhound. Golden dust covered his torso. He sighed in relief, then winced at the burning pain.
He tried to move his left arm and screamed in pain. Gods... It hurt so much. He kept his bronze sword on the ground and took out it's cap out of his pocket and struggled to put it on Riptide. After a while, it was safely in his pocket.
Percy tried to stand. Black spots danced in front of his eyes but he managed to stand with the support the trees. One hand on his wound, he started his journey back to camp. He risked a glance at his shoulder and almost passed out. It was a deep cut and had a greenish hue to it.
His vision started to blur. He was faintly aware of blood dripping down on the forest floor. His breaths became ragged, more harder to take. He croaked a laugh. What a stupid idea it was to come here! He dragged himself from one tree to the other leaving a bloody trail behind.
Finally, the camp came into view. He walked slowly towards it. It seemed to be going farther and farther. He had to do this. He couldn't die here. He walked forward with a surge if new strength.
Finally, he entered the very familiar place. A few Apollo campers playing basketball saw him. "Percy!", one of them-Will, Percy recognized- yelled. His knees buckled. The sky seemed yellow to him. Everything thing was rotating.
The Apollo kids reached him. The last thing he heard was Will say, "Holy Cows of Apollo. The wound's infected very badly!"
Then everything turned black.

Annabeth
Annabeth stormed up the Half- Blood Hill, trying to find Percy. She wanted to kill him. Her most important blueprint-the one that Zeus had wanted for so long-was lost, and she was sure Percy had taken it to annoy her.
"Annabeth!", a shout jostled her out of her thoughts. Piper ran up the hill, worry visible on her face. "What?", she snapped once Piper had reached her. Piper panted, then looked at up her. "It's... It's Percy...", she breathed. "Oh! Where is that little pest? I want to give him a piece of my mind! He took my most important blueprint!", Annabeth snarled.
Piper's face hardened. "Yeah?", she said coldly. "Give me proof, Annabeth. Proof that you haven't been ignoring him for weeks and that he took your pencils and blueprints and that you were not the person who didn't come to wish him on his birthday!". Annabeth didn't say anything. She clenched her teeth, then said, deadly calm, "I asked, where is Percy? I don't want your speeches!". A look of hurt crossed Piper's face and she immediately felt bad.
"Annabeth", Piper said in a calm tone. "You haven't been yourself lately. Take a break. That's what Percy always asked you to do. Yesterday, because of the events that have been happening, he was admited to the infirmary. He's still there. I hope you come back to your senses", she added.
Annabeth thanked her and jogged down the hill towards the infirmary. Why was Percy there? Nad why was he there because of the 'events' that had happened? She reached the building and slowly opened the door and entered.
All the beds were unoccupied except for one-where a black- haired boy was lying. Percy. His eyes were closed. He had no covers on him and then Annabeth saw why he had been admited to this place and she put a hand over her mouth. She almost puked, too.
He had no left arm.
When she saw that, all her anger vaporized, leaving only the horrible reality behind. She realised what she had done, what sort of trance she had been in. And she remembered the words she'd said to him. She remembered her cabin-mates telling her that Percy had fallen asleep outside the Athena cabin on a rainy day. Tears slid down her cheeks. She was a monster. Now, he would have to live his entire life without an arm. All because she had been too absorbed in her work and had constanly ignored him.
Annabeth took a chair and sat down next to his bed. She stroked his hair, a habit she developed a few moments ago. "Idiot", she murmured. "I leave you alone for some time and you get your arm sliced off".
"Actually, it was two weeks", Percy said. Annabeth almost fell of her chair. He opened his eyes and looked at her uncertainly. "I hope I can talk to you now without being asked to get out and being cursed. Hello!".
"Percy... I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. I mean I'll understand if you don't. And it'll be okay. No, I... I mean it'll be no-".
Percy leaned forward and they were at eye level. She sealed the gap. After a few moments, he pulled away. "Percy, please forgive me", she said weakly.
He moistened his lips,"It depends".
"On what?".
He smirked, "Do I still drool in my sleep?".
And that's that. Gosh. This was 2000+ words. The other chapters will be considerably shorter.
