In instinct, he clicked the pen, ducked , slashed and then stabbed, with Annabeth by his side.

The monster then exploded into yellow dust. Annabeth looked at him "Am I still crazy"?

Percy shook his head in shock "No, but, who are you, and, who am I"?

Annabeth widened her eyes "Who are YOU? You are Perseus Jackson, Savior of the golden fleece and Hero of Olympus, one of the seven, the boy who fell into Tartarus for me all because he loved me".

Her voice cracked at the last part. 

"And I am Annabeth Chase, A Savior of the golden fleece and one of the seven, your GIRLFRIEND".

Percy shook his head "No, Cass is, and this is all confusing. I am not the Savior and hero of this 'Olympus' and I am just the most famous person in the whole entire world, which means that I have a giant security team and can send you to jail any moment".

Annabeth rolled her eyes and didn't look fazed by the threat "But you won't because you are interested in your past, and in me because I re-opened the doors to our magical demi-god world".

Percy hated how right she was. "Owl Face". He muttered. 

He started to storm away. 

Annabeth stopped him in the middle of the street "Percy, Don't you remember... Anything else"?

Percy shook his head.

"Okay, I am so so so sorry Percy, but this is the only way".

Percy made a confused face.

"Luke, Charlie, Selina, Bob, Damasen". Annabeth's voice wavered at the last two.

Each name was a punch to the chest. Percy staggered. He didn't know why those names had such an effect on him, but they did.

All of the sudden, Percy heard screeching tires. He turned.

A car was speeding towards Annabeth, who was talking, obliviously. Percy abandoned the sidewalk and jumped into the street. 

"ANNABETH, LOOK OUT"! Percy screamed. Still in the air, he pushed her out of the way. The car hit him. 

Annabeth let out a high pitched scream that stopped all of the other cars. 

When the car that hit him sped away, she took a picture of it's license. 

Then she crawled on her knees to Percy. "Wake up"! She sobbed. 

She buried her face into his jacket and sobbed.

Then she leaned over him. He had a bad injury on his forehead and one of his pant legs was bloody. 

Then...

Percy coughed weakly and opened his eyes 

"Wise girl"? He asked.

Annabeth cried out in relief. "Percy".

He smiled "I am glad you are okay".

Annabeth sobbed as he reached to touch his forehead and wiped the blood that was streaming into his eyes. "It's okay, I have had worse".

Annabeth's grey eyes widened. "You remember"?

Percy nodded "I also remember how much I love you".

Annabeth was getting impatient. 

"And I just remember how-". 

He was cut off as Annabeth kissed him, with his mouth still open. They shared a deep passionate kiss. 

Annabeth then proceeded to break away and call an ambulance. 

On the ride to the hospital Annabeth asked "What about Cassidy"?

Percy groaned in pain as he tried to move. 

"We will break up. I don't care about what the media will say, as long as we are together".
