Annabeth Chase, had been hoping and wishing for so long. Finally, Jason's birthday came around. Piper invited her, and she knew Percy was going to be there, after all, Jason WAS his "bro".

She put on an olive green dress with straps that were off the shoulder.

(I am really sorry, I believe that putting pictures in the middle of a story is obnoxious, but I can't really describe her outfit without them). 

(that is her dress, but it hugs her body tighter, she wears an across body white purse, and a golden necklace that Percy gave her. Plus, the dress she was wearing was just overally nicer).

(yup, sorry, I ran out of ideas for the hair).

(yes, that is her lip gloss, and the nails are not part of it)

(yes, this is what she wears on and around her eyes).

Finally, Annabeth felt ready to go.

She needed Percy back. 

Percy had actually become a famous popstar while they were not together. Someone heard him singing and they liked it, and the next thing he knew, he was making records and millions.

Annabeth didn't really care about fame and money. I mean, she wanted enough money to live, and maybe a bit extra if she were to ever go to a fancy restaurant, or buy gifts for others.

She danced a bit and then went to go and get a drink. 

She walked back to the dance floor with her drink in hand.

She crashed into someone. "Sorry". They said at the same time. 

Then, Annabeth gasped. "Percy"?

Percy turned his head.

Annabeth put her drink down and kissed him.

Percy kissed back hungrily. He tasted so good and Annabeth practically melted in his arms.

"Percy, I am so so so sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you, I just, it was a tough day at work and-".

Percy cut her off by placing another kiss on her lips. "It's okay". He murmured. 

Jason yelled "Percy, over here"!

Percy placed one more kiss on her lips and scurried off.

Annabeth ordered another drink, and then another.

Soon, she couldn't see straight.

She wobbled over to Percy. 

He caught her by the shoulders. 

"Are you okay"? Percy asked.

Annabeth just leaned on him "Percy". She whispered, over and over again.

Percy sighed.

He helped her home. 

He tried to go, but Annabeth said "Stay".

Annabeth kissed him then, and Percy stayed. 

It was a small step, back into the relationship, like when Percy made Annabeth blue pancakes in the morning, and they knew they would never be the same.

After experiencing what being without the other was like. 

They knew to stay together and to work things out.

They would never be the same BECAUSE,
