Percy's POV:

          As I was sitting down in the cave, I heard a scream. A very familiar scream.

         Annabeth.

   I ran outside of the cave, and I saw the Minotaur standing above Annabeth. 

     She was on the floor, her dagger too far away for her to reach. Her face was covered in blood.

I ran over to her. I slashed at the Minotaur, my body filled with anger at the Minotaur for endangering Annabeth. I killed it.

I bent down next to Annabeth. Her scars were really bad. I didn't have any ambrosia or nectar, and Emma was no where to be found. 

Annabeth's breathing started to slow down. She looked at me with her beautiful grey eyes, but were now filled with sadness and remorse.

" I wish I had more time. I wish I told you this sooner. But I was afraid Percy, I was afraid. I was afraid that someone would break the brick wall I put around myself after I got betrayed by Luke. I was afraid for how easily you broke through that wall. But I guess I know realize that I don't have to hide anymore. You aren't like him. You are different. That's why I love you Percy. It's okay if you don't feel the same. I have experienced heartache before, I can do it again" Annabeth weakly said 

" No Annabeth. Of course I love you, I have always loved you. I will never break you heart. I swear it on the river styx." I said. 

I leaned in to kiss her, knowing it was probably my last time.

" I love you Percy" Annabeth said, then she closed her eyes.

" NOOO! ANNABETH!" i screamed

" I love you too" I whispered while crying, sobbing into the floor. Mourning over the loss of Annabeth. " What am I without you? You were  like my brain. Stopping me from doing mistakes. You taught me so many knew things. Without you I would be dumber and stupider then I am. You are my brain but more importantly, you are my other half. You are the one that stole my heart. And you will never return it... I won't let you. My heart is yours...yours to keep, to cherish, to break even if you want. Without you, I would be totally different person with a different personality. You changed my life.It was like a blob of clay, but you changed it, you gave it form, a sham and most importantly...a purpose. I will love you until the day I die. But even then, in the underworld I will still love you." I said while crying so hard. 

 Its over. She is dead. My one true love is dead.

        I suddenly woke up. I was breathing heavily. Oh thank the gods, that was just a dream. But then I felt a warm round object breathing on to my chest. Wait a minute. That is Annabeth. Her head was snuggled upon my chest. My arms were wrapped around her waist. I blushed at our position. How did yew get into this position. I recalled what happened last night and felt happy.

" Looks like someone is getting comfortable" A girl said. I am pretty sure that is Thalia's voice. But what is she doing here? Shouldn't she be with the hunters of Artemis?

Then, Annabeth woke up. We both sat up quickly and blushed.

"You should have seen yourselves. Hilarious" Thalia said

" What are you doing here Thalia, and.....the rest of the hunters?" I asked

" Well. We were hunting like normal. Then I saw some water suddenly fly up from lake. I thought it was you Percy, so I went towards the lake. I saw a figure with sea green eyes. Then Iw as so sure it was Percy.But the figure turned out to be a girl. She asked me

"Who are you"

" I am Thalia, lieutenant for Artemis" I replied

Then Phoebe said " Wait, is that you Emma?"

" Phoebe?" The girl named Emma replied

Then they both went up and hugged each other. Emma introduced herself and brought us into the cave. Where we found you two snuggled up." Thalia said

" How do you know Phoebe, Emma?" I asked

" Well, before I went on my quest, the hunters of Artemis came to Camp Half-blood for 2 days.I met Phoebe and we started to become friends. She told me to consider joining the Hunters of Artemis.But then I told Phoebe that I wasn't ready yet." Emma said

" Enough talking about us. What about you two?

" What do you mean?" I asked. Even though I was perfectly sure of what they meant.

" You two were really snuggling up back there. Besides, Emma told me what happened. Are you guys a couple or what?" Thalia asked

" Let's just survive this quest then we will see."

" What did the prophecy say?"

"The children of the sea will go on a quest

Along with a demigod they shall travel west

To the lost place where monstrous things can be found

To the Earth the demigods parents will be bound

The long lost demigod shall take the lead

To find a way for the parents to be freed

The rivals' children need to find the key

By working together in harmony" Emma said

" So it sounds to me that Poseidon and Athena have been trapped to the Earth in the lost place that monstrous things can be found. Do you have any idea where that could be?" Phoebe asked

" We think it is Lemuria.I read about a myth that had lost island called Lemuria. The book said that it wasn't really located anywhere, but I dont understand what they mean.Anyway, we are going to ask Aeleous. Do you know where his palace is from here. We might have gotten little lost with the whole sneak-attack. "

"Yeah, we do. If you want we can lead you there in around half hour to an hour. Lets catch up one each others stories. Especially since Emma doesn't know who I am, and since I don't know what has happened with you two from the time that I last saw you." Thalia said

   So we all sat down around the campfire. It was like how we would all gather around the campfire at Camp Half-Blood and sing songs and tell stories. I only wish that was the case.

   For anyone that was interested in knowing. I am 13 years old. I actually just turned 13 last week so it is different telling everyone that I am thirteen and now a teenager!! I am in 8th grade. Some think that I am too young to write and I was nervous to start writing my first story, because I thought that no one would like it. Then I didn't get many views only first story which is this one so I stopped writing it. I started another one which was more successful called Annabeths Selection. But when I read that some  people wanted me to continue this book was so excited and motivated. 

      I try to do my best because I don't want to let you down!!!!
