Percy and annabeth decided that they needed a vacation. So much stress had gone down in their house in just a couple weeks that they decided to take a break together. Percy choose the beach and Annabeth choose which beach they were going to.

 They decided on Owl Wave Beach (because Athena's animal is a owl and percy is the son of Poseidon). The couple arrived in a car , ready to spend one week together, posing as mortals.

 All of the sudden a puppy with curly hair barreled into them and crashed into annabeth. Percy drew riptide but then a girls voice yelled "hey, do not murder my dog"! and they looked just in time to see two girls, about 20 running towards them. one was wearing a dark purple swimsuit with floral neon pink designs. Purple girl had flying blonde hair and stunning blueish purple eyes. The other had strawberry brown hair with green eyes and ringlets. The brunet cradled the puppy in her arms and the blonde looked at them through narrowed eyes.  

         A third Appeared with bluey green eyes and stuck out his arm to make a shield.  A real shield appeared and annabeth fell into percy. "are you a monster"? she asked. The blonde smiled and replied "no but who are you, jokers"? (just so you know if you are not familiar with these characters then read my queen of hearts book). Annabeth shared a confused look with percy before replying "no we are demigods". 

The green eyed one stepped out of the shield and faced them. In a throaty voice she told them " I am Ace and this is Lilly and that is Benjamin". Lilly the blonde stepped out too and said "what are demigods"? Annabeth shared a look with percy  before replying "what are jokers"? 

         The boy sighed and replied "jokers are the bad guys and we get our magic from playing cards. my power is the diamond power that can be used as a shield or explosion.  Ace's ability is a spade so she had spade shaped weapons that appear when ever she calls them. Lilly has the heart power which no one else in the world has besides her, The heart power is used to mesmerize people and you can curse the people with it.

     Annabeth and Percy went next " we are demigods, demigods mean that we have one parent who is a god, like Poseidon, or Zeus." "and Athena". Annabeth jumped in "yeah". percy went on "my dad is Poseidon but my mom is a normal human", so I am a half god". Lilly nodded and the groups of people parted their separate ways.
