Percy's POV
"Gods of Olympus this hurts!" Annabeth yelled startling Grover half to death.
By now, most of the camp knows about our not so little secret so there isn't that added pressure hanging over us anymore thank the gods.
This gives Annabeth some more freedom...to complain more openly?
"Babe we are almost there. Will says it's looking great!" I tried saying with an upbeat attitude.
Annabeth glared at me. "You're not the one with this little monster growing inside of you. I swear this kid is going to be one hell of a soccer player."
I smiled. "Yeah I bet he will be."
"Um he?" Connor sat down next to us. "It's going to be a she. It better be for the money I bet on her." He muttered the last part.
Annabeth glared at the son of Hermes. "You're betting on my child's gender?"
Connor put his hands up defensively. "Woah it's not just me princess."
Annabeth was about to hit him for his choice of nickname but suddenly clutched her stomach. "Ow!"
Connor smiled. "Saved by the little devil her self."
"It's going to be a He!" Annabeth groaned.
I sat closer to her rubbing her shoulders. "What ever it's going to be, let's just hope the baby will come soon..like really soon."
Annabeth is on her 7th and a half month. Nothing has really happened this summer a camp. I went on like one small quest to help Apollo with something, Annabeth has been here the whole time, and a lot of our friends have come to visit.
Piper is actually coming to visit soon. She was thrilled to hear that we were also pregnant and wants her and Annabeth to do some sort of baby yoga that I will not take part in.
Thalia drops in from time to time to check in on us and to see everyone though the daughter of Zeus has still not gotten make to herself.
Nobody has for that matter after we lost him. She would smile if I said something dumb or funny and she seems happy for Annabeth and I but she also seems very distance. I know she wants to do as much as she can for Piper as the baby does belong to her former brother. I just hope that time will heal her. "Leo thinks it's going to be a boy." Connor said making me look back over at him. "Bet me 100 drachmas on it but I think it's gong to be a girl along with Travis."
"And Piper's baby?" I asked with an amused smile. Campers are taking this way to seriously but it's funny to watch them.
"A girl." Connor shrugged. "When's she due?"
Annabeth blew air. "Next month. She wants to have it in Oklahoma though." Grover knitted his eyebrows in concern. "Wouldn't that be a bit dangerous? I mean..the child does belong to a son of Zeu—I mean Jupiter. Wouldn't that make it kind of dangerous to have it at a regular hospital?"
I frowned. I never thought about that. Piper's baby is going to be a pretty powerful legacy with Jason's blood in him/her. Not to mention Piper's crazy powers. "Yeah she should come to camp when its time." I said looking down at my girlfriend. Annabeth rubbed her swollen stomach absentmindedly. "That would be the wisest decision but it's up to her. I know I'm having ours here." I couldn't help but smile at the mention of "ours."
Ananbeth and I are this close to becoming parents. One month and we will never be free again. The thought alone terrifies me but also excites me to the highest extent. I haven't realized how excited I've become for fatherhood to start a family with Annabeth.
"When will you guys leave for California?" Grover asked. I've been so busy lately with the pregnancy and training, I haven't even thought about college yet. "Gods we start college in 1 month!" I looked at Annabeth who didn't seem anxious at all. "We need to go look for a place." Was all she said. "Well..I mean do you think Reyna will let us still...?"
Annabeth rolled her eyes. "Of course she will. We already got accepted and I'm not letting my own baby get in the way of education thank you very much."
I shook my head. "You are such a daughter of the wisdom goddess it's not even funny."
"And you're such a son of Poseidon which makes you a Seaweed Brain." She retorted standing up. "Piper is supposed to be coming today so I suggest you all prepare yourselves for another emotional pregnant woman."
She walked over to her cabin leaving Connor, Grover, and I all staring at each other in horror. Annabeth is bad enough with her weird pregnant hormones. But her plus Piper? It almost makes me want Hera to put me down for a long nap so I won't have to deal with it. Almost.
