My best pal,
what a wonder you are.
Like a shooting star in a jet black sky,
you made my world go awry.

My best pal,
You bring out the best in me,
as well as the worst-
such a pleasant curse.

My best pal,
I have become accustomed,
to the way our friendship drifts astray.
Only for it to be hooked back and anchored, as it may.

My best pal,
You and I are exotic adventurers.
We do as we please, and tease fate;
It's a shame that the world is run by hate.

My best pal,
They've never experienced,
nor tasted, freedom.
We're the epitome of charm.

My best pal,
Together we are a siren-
one that guides ships in the night,
I promise you won't be in fright.

This is a short poem, and admittedly a half-assed one. But this is credited to my dearest friend Amber, who wont ever read it. She doesn't do "emotions." So she wouldn't understand it. Anyways
