Fredricks POV

I am professor Fredrick chase. I live in California with my wife Helen and twin sons bobby and Mathew. I have a daughter named annabeth, but I haven't seen her in almost 2 years! She is now 20 and the twins are 13.

Right now I am waiting to get on a plane to go to New York for a 3 day seminar about structure and discipline in a college classroom. I know that sounds like it sucks but the university I work for is paying for the whole trip and and extra day so that I can explore New York!

After I got to NYC I sat through 3 days of long seminars and crappy New York food! I missed Helen and the boys so I couldn't wait to get home.

The fourth day.........
Finally, thank got that today is the fourth day and I'm exploring the city. First I'm going to see a building that is supposed to be spectacular. It's actually the main building for a company called Athenian architecture (😉😉) and so I'm going to check it out.

After he visits the building........
Omg I just left on the plane home and I got to go the building yesterday and I got to meet the CEO and I just happened to have known her very well! This is what happened-

You see I walked in and I talked to the secretary and she told me that the CEO named annabeth Jackson had a small break from 2:30-3:00 and I could meet her if I wanted to. Now at that point in time I thought the name was a little weird but I just shrugged it off and since it was just 2:30 I went upstairs to meet her.

Once I got to the top floor where she was I knocked on the door and I was shocked to see that the CEO was a blonde woman who looked just like Athena!

"Hi I'm Annabeth.... wait dad?" She said! Then I realized that this was my daughter, my Annabeth!

She hugged me and I said "wow I've missed you. I can't believe you are the CEO of this place!"

"Well I guess I got some brains from my mom but what are you doing here?" She asked so I explained about the seminar and everything and she nodded and listened.

I talked to her for half an hour and when 3:00 rolled around she said "Hey dad this is my address so come by around 7:00 tonight you can stay in a guest room and I'll get you a flight home tomorrow." I took the address and went to my hotel room to pack.

At 6:45 I got in a cab and gave the driver her address. After about 15 minutes we came up to a long driveway but I could already see a huge, white, Greek style mansion! At first I thought that there was no way my daughter could live her but then I remembered that she was the CEO of an architecture company so she probably designed her own house.

I walked up and rang the doorbell and she answered. I hugged her lightly and looked at her. She was wearing a turquoise and coral colored sun dress. Her hairs was in a weird braid thing and she had a gold necklace, diamond stud earrings, some bracelets that matched the dress, and had two gold diamond rings on her ring finger and a few other silver ones on her other fingers.

She led me passed a living room and many other rooms into her large kitchen the she said " we will eat in here but let's go back to the main living room and talk while dinners cooking." So that's what we did I talked and she listened just like before.

Around 7:20 I heard the door open and then heard a male voice say " hey Beth are you home yet?" The annabeth yelled back " yeah I'm in the living room, and don't call me Beth!"

Suddenly a tall guy with sea green eyes and messy black hair came in the room. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and dark blue jeans.

He leaned over and kissed her on the lips then said " hey is dinner ready?"
"Almost, I'm making breakfast food. I have the pancakes done and they're sitting in the microwave to stay warm but the bacon and sausages are still in the oven." She replies, then says " Percy you remember my dad, dad this is Percy."

We shook hand and the Percy went into another room and I continued to tell annabeth about my fishing trip with the boys last weekend. When I was almost done with the story the oven beeped and annabeth and I went into the kitchen then she called for Percy.

Percy came in and he helped annabeth set the table. Once they brought out the food I noticed that the sausage and bacon were normal but, the pancakes were blue!

I gave annabeth a weird look and she said " the pancakes are blue because when Percy was a little kid and a teenager and even now his mom has made as much food as possible blue, so now whenever I cook I make the food blue,"

We all ate in silence pretty fast then annabeth said she would give me a tour of her house. We saw a ton of bathrooms the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, her office, the parlour, the pantry, and a couple of bathrooms. Next we got on an elevator and went to the basement.

The basement was basically a very large "hang out" room. It had a bar that was filled with pop and candy and other junk food items, a large couch, a 60" flat screen TV with an Xbox, PS4, Wii U, and a Nintendo switch. There was also a few chairs and an air hockey table, a pool table, and a foosball table. Of course there was also a bathroom.

We got back on the elevator and went up to the second floor. On it we saw a bunch of bedrooms that we weren't allowed in and we saw some guest bedrooms that we were allowed in. I found mine and it was pretty nice. I had a bed, dresser, night stands, and a large closet and an ensuite bathroom.

After I set my stuff in my room we walked down the hall and just as we were about to enter another guest bedroom I heard a loud cry. Percy ran out and down the hallway onto one of the "forbidden" bedrooms. Annabeth and I looked in a few more rooms until we got to the last one and she said " well this is my room I guess you can come in here."

Then Percy caught up with us and walked in with us then said " I'm gonna take a shower goodnight Fredrick" and he walked into HER bathroom!

I was furious! I looked at annabeth and said " why is he using your shower I get that he is your boyfriend but you should be more sensible. Do you want to end up heart broken? You need to take things a little slower after all your only 20! You need to not let a guy control you and protect yourself, after all you don't want to end up with an STD or something do you?!"

"Wow dad now you care! First of all Percy is my Husband not my boyfriend and second of all your not in control of me, you threw me out when I was 7 years old! You have no say in what I do or who I'm with ok!"

I stared at her in shock the left and went into my room thinking Omg she was married to some douchbag who was going to leave her broken hearted! She needed my control and I only put her out to protect Helen and the boys! I knew that she could take care of herself or someone else would do I thought it was okay.

In the morning I woke up and went downstairs into the kitchen. There annabeth was already up and cooking eggs on the stove. Percy came down and walked past me over to her and said "good morning Beth you feeling better?" She replied "I guess" then continued cooking and ignoring me. Right after she took the eggs out of the pan and put them on plates a tanned girls with choppy brown hair came in and she was holding the hand of a two year old boy who had green eyes and blonde hair. She handed him to annabeth and spoke briefly and quietly to her then left.

Annabeth got a hard boiled egg out of her fridge and peeled it and gave it to him. Then we sat down and Percy went upstairs and brought down a baby girl who had black hair and I don't know what colour eyes and say her in a high chair.

Annabeth said " dad these are our kids, this is Luke and he is 2 and this is silena and she is 8 months old." I looked at her and said " oh now I get why your with him, it's because you have kids with him." She looked insanely angry and yelled "I'm with Percy because I love Percy and you know what love and marriage and children are very uncommon for demigods, especially ones like us who have saved the world countless times! Percy has risked his life for he multiple times you know he risked his life trying to save me when we were 13 and he held up the sky for me, he thought of me when he went into the river Styx, when he was kidnapped by Hera and had lost all of his memories the only thing he remembered was my name, he helped me go on my own quest and even though he wasn't there he was still fighting giants just to get to me, he even fell into hell for me and I mean that literally so that I didn't have to go alone and die, he defeated tons of monsters in Greece to save me! So you know what dad I love him and he loves me and we would do anything for each other!"

I stood there shocked and said " I'm sorry I just miss you and want to protect you" then we hugged and she told me all about her life!

Omg guys this is the longest chapter I've ever wrote! This was insane and I hope to write more like this! Usually my chapters are and will be about 500-1000 word long but this one is insanely long.

My hands hurt really bad and it's. 11:15 at night and I'm really tired but I loved writing this so much! Anyway I hope you enjoyed this and will continue to read the book and read the first one!
