Warning this contains some Trials Of Apollo book 1 spoilers!

Caryn's POV

Hi I'm Caryn Blofis I'm 17 years old. Today my mom, dad, and I are going to see my moms older brother Paul. Paul apparently  got married a few years ago and since my mom and him aren't extremely close we didn't know!

Anyway he apparently has an 18 year old step son and a baby girl on the way! I'm really excited to meet the stepson because  I'm newly single, my ex said I was to clingy but I dont think I was I mean all girlfriend call they're boyfriends at least once ever hour!

" Caryn it's time to go" my mom shouts up at me, she's so rude I mean can't she text me like a normal person. I grab my phone and earbuds and run to the car.

We had noting to say to each other on the way, my parents and me that is, but when I tried to put in my earbuds they stopped me! So after a super long and painfully silent 45 minute drive we arrive at my uncle Paul's apartment building. It's actually a pretty nice building it's white and clean and tall! We walk inside to a large and very similarly white lobby then we walk up to the front desk and they call my uncle and allow us to go up. They are very cautious I guess her in this part of the city, it's not in the best neighborhood but not the worst one either. At least that's what my dad said and he's usually right, especially when which things like this.

We went up on an elevator to the 6the floor and can you believe that it had no mirrors I mean come on it seemed so tiny and I had to look at my phone to see if I looked okay. We walked a little bit then found apartment number 63. I got to knock on the door and a gorgeous boy opened it up. He has messy black hair and amazing sea green eyes! He is wearing a T-shirt that says Goode swim team and a pair of black Nike sweatpants, he look super hot as he leaned up against the door casually and then he held out his arm to invite us in. He also was tall and tan. And he had on a weird necklace that had a lot of strange beads.

"You must be Caryn I'm Percy Paul's stepson" he says. Then a pregnant woman in her 40s who must be his mom comes over and introduces herself as sally.

She is wearing a blue baby doll top and jeans with a pink and white checkered apron over top. She has on a chunky necklace and matching earrings, and on her hand she has two large diamond rings, one has a single large diamond and the other has several small ones. She is also wearing bright pink Nike socks.

Then me and Percy walk into the living room. The living room has two green armchairs and a green couch. The floor is a dark oak wood and it has a beige coffee table and matching side tables. This TV stand is the same as the tables and has a big flat screen and in the cupboards I can clearly see sand Xbox and lots of games for it. There are also some folding chairs and a card table in the corner while in the other corner there is a fake, large, fern plant in a white vase.

Perch sits down in a green armchair and then I sit on the matching couch hoping that he'll move to sit next to me but he doesn't. He reaches for the remote and goes to turn on the tv when a blonde girl with gray eyes comes in. She's wearing a sweatshirt that says Goode swim team #7 Jackson so naturally I assume that she's Percy's sister.

The girl introduces herself as annabeth and then she sits on the arm of the chair he's sitting in and he turns on the tv. We watch reruns of the show FRIENDS for an hour until sally calls us for dinner.

We all sit down at the table. Sally and Paul's sit on the ends and Percy sits on one side closest to his mom and that girl Annabeth sits next to him. Then my mom makes me sit in between her and my dad.

Sally passes out the food and we dig in. She's a really good cook! Everything was perfect. She made a lasagna and some sides like garlic bread, green beans, and some plain pasta for those who wanted it instead. The adults drank wine and us "kids" drank coke but for some reason it was blue, anyway dinner was good. I asked Percy questions about school and his grades and had asked me similar ones.

Later into the night Sally brought out a pan of brownies that were blue! I asked her about the color and she explained that Percy had always had a thing for blue food. We were all laughing and having a great time and I kept trying to get closer to Percy but I realized that he was like my cousin and I can totally do better than him but then something horrible happened.

That annabeth girl came over to him and she kissed him on the lips! "OMG what are you guys doing" I screamed.

Then she said "I'm kissing my boyfriend", I replied by saying "I wasn't going to ask him because we're like cousins and that would be incest but this is creepier!"

Then Percy said "do you think we're related"

"Yeah" I said "since she was wearing a hoodie with your last name I assumed that she was your sister"

They both looked disgusted and then the bursted our laughing. Annabeth said "I was wearing his hoodie because I was cold not because it's mine, plus you never had a chance!"

I tried to protest but my parents who were now thoroughly embarrassed pulled me out of the apartment and they lectured me then they apologized to the others and they were really upset but screw them I mean at least I still have my trust so I can use that if they cut me off, and I have my credit cards!

She's so stupid but I hope that you all enjoyed this chapter and I'm sorry that I've been MIA lately but I'm working on some pretty big stuff so please watch out cause it's insane and crazy but I'm proud of it and I am super excited to share it.

A lot of stuff has been going on lately I've been thinking about writing my crazy experience and everything that's been going on lately in my life but I'm worried that it may seem offensive or scary or even to serious just because it's true and it did and is happening but it you want to read it then comment and I will!
