Instead of facing them head on

Running like a coward

Running like your weak

Fearing for your life

As the beast of your dreams draws near 

You scream and you cry

But you can't break free

No one hears your silent plee

They laugh and they snicker

As you lay there motionless

And that was your final sight

Those who are laughing at you

No one helping

No one caring

Just laughing 

As your form turns cold

You fear this life you have lived

More then you fear what you don't know
