Eighty-One
"Dad, I'm not a dog! I don't feel well! Just leave me here!" Mitch screams as Mike has him by the arm walking him down the stairs from his bedroom.
Mike spins Mitch around harshly and looks him in the eyes.
"I don't trust you anymore, and I don't trust Scott!" Mike says.
Mike begins to drag Mitch throughout the house by his arm again as he whines in pain.
"Scott? I haven't seen him in weeks!"
"No more, Mitch! You mom's coming home, and you're coming with me to get her."
Mike then opens the front door and shoves Mitch out as he walks closely behind him making sure he can't run back into the house and look himself in his room again.
"Please, I don't feel well!" Mitch pleads.
"When we get home, pack up your things. We're leaving this house for good." Mitch says fiercely grabbing onto Mitch's arm again.
"What!? You guys are back together?" Mitch asks.
Mike sighs.
"I don't know yet. Your mom wants to go down to your aunt's to give birth, and I'm supporting it." Mike says.
Mitch then turns to his dad with wide eyes.
"No, you don't want to do this." Mitch pleads.
"Mitch, your mother's been locked up in a psych ward for weeks! I won't let her stay there for another minute! Are you gonna get in the car, or do I have to make you?" Mike yells.
Mitch sighs loudly and crosses his arms over his chest in a protest.
Mike then slaps Mitch across the face in frustration.
He doesn't understand why Mitch has been acting out recently, but he's determined to put Mitch back into his place.
"My God, Mitch! What is wrong with you!?" He yells again
He then opens the car door and shoves Mitch into the backseat.
"Get in the car! Your mother wants to see you!" Mike yells.
Mike slams the back door and gets in the front seat of the car, while Mitch is still screaming his head off in the backseat.
"I'm gonna throw up!" Mitch yells.
Mike ignores him and continues to strap himself in the car and start the engine.
Mitch sighs.
"Fine. I'll lay down." Mitch says.
He looks back up at the house and closes his eyes.
Mitch ends up back in the house as soon as Mike pulls out of the driveway.
He just stares at Mike's car and wonders when his dad will notice his not in the car anymore.

Mitch finally walks back to his room after he sees that his dad is finally gone.
"What's gonna happen when they get back?" Mitch asks.
Scott then appears on the foot of his bed with his head bowed.
"What do I say?" Mitch asks.
He closes his bedroom door and walks over to the bed where Scott is sitting.
Scott continues to look at the floor not saying a word as Mitch sits next to him looking for answers.
Mitch then notices that Scott is playing with his iPod looking for something.
Mitch giggles a little.
"It's not UTube with a U. It's Youtube. Y-O-U." Mitch sighs.
"Oh." Scott says softly and looks back down at the iPod.
Mitch sighs and starts to play with his hands in his lap.
"If they find out I killed myself, they'll go insane. Literally. For real this time. I mean, they can't know." Mitch says softly.
"Well, you can't control it forever. I mean, it is what it is, Mitch." Scott says now focusing his attention on Mitch.
They lock eyes for a minute, but Mitch breaks his stares to looks down at the iPod.
"One of these days, this computer will be obsolete. People will have microchips implanted in their brains or some shit." Mitch says.
Scott looks at him still.
He fells like Scott is burning a hole through his head as he keeps talking, so Mitch finally looks back at Scott.
He continues.
"We won't be able to watch Youtube or anything. We'll be like all the others here. Prisoners in a windowless cell. Who's gonna show me the new ways of the world?" Mitch says.
Scott sighs and tries to go in to hug Mitch, but he pushes him away.
Mitch looks back down at the ground and sighs.
"Nobody here is happy, Scott."
"Yeah, but they're not like us. They're lonely. We have each other." Scott says.
He gives Mitch a smile and grabs his hand from his lap.
Scott just wants Mitch to be happy.
And he should be since he's with him now.
"We'll never have kids." Mitch says.
Scott's smile fades as he looks at how sad Mitch is.
He's not understanding why he can't just be happy with him and no one else.
All of a sudden, they both hear a music box start to play.
They both turn around to find the source of the noise.
Scott and Mitch both walk down the hallway as they follow the music to the nursery.
They see Shawn and Alex decorating the nursery together in anticipation for Nel's baby.
"I was so worried when madam didn't have any potatoes, but I have to say these yams are making a cleaner image." Shawn says as he puts cute baby animal stamps on the walls.
"Less moisture, I think." He continues.
Shawn sighs and looks down at Alex who is painting the baby's dresser.
"Oh, I love that Chinese red. I always meant to use it in the powder room downstairs." Shawn says.
Alex smiles back at him and points over to the cribs across the room.
"I'm gonna paint those old cribs too." Alex says.
Shawn's attitude changes then.
"Really? Red cribs?"
"Uh, Shawn? What did we talk about?" Alex says looking back up at Shawn.
Shawn rolls his eyes and takes a deep breath saying the same words over and over again.
"'Our' babies, not 'my' babies."
Alex laughs.
"You know what? I can live with a red crib. It might actually be kind of fabulous." Shawn says.
"You're so adorable when you're happy." Alex says.
They both laugh.
They are quickly interrupted by Scott and Mitch coming through the door.
Alex stands up as Shawn continues to look down at them from the ladder he's standing on.
"Who asked you to decorate the nursery?" Mitch sasses.
"Let me break it down for ya, sweetie. This is our house, and we're having twins." Shawn says.
Mitch chuckles.
"Who's your surrogate? One of those nurses in the basement?" Mitch says.
Scott laughs as Alex gives him almost a death stare.
"No. No." Shawn says as he climbs down the ladder walking towards Mitch to become face to face with him.
"A very, very human surrogate, Elvira. Your lovely mother." Shawn says.
He gives Mitch an evil smiles and walks towards Scott.
"You think you're gonna steal those twins?" Scott asks.
Shawn and Alex walk towards each other and just stare at Scott and Mitch from one side of the room.
"You pathetic pieces of shits couldn't steal shit out of your own ass!" Scott spats.
Shawn begins to laugh at Scott as Alex continues to stare him down.
Mitch sighs and throws his hands up in the air.
"You know what? It doesn't matter. As soon as my parents get back, we're leaving here. They're leaving. So, knock yourselves out." Mitch says.
Alex laughs and looks over at Shawn who is also laughing now.
"Child, your parents aren't going anywhere as long as you're stuck here." Shawn says.
"And don't you get all snotty, little brother. You'll be begging to babysit. As big as this place is, it does get very, very lonely." Alex says.
Shawn pushes Alex out of the way and looks Scott and Mitch in their faces.
"It could get ugly though." Shawn says.
He looks Mitch up and down trying to intimidate him.
"Were you a C-section? Is there an existing zipper we might use?" Shawn says.
"Watch it, you goddamn, piece of shit." Scott says through gritted teeth.
Alex laughs as he stands behind Shawn, who is doing all the talking in this tense situation.
"What are you gonna do? Murder me?"
