Friendship is utterly complex
Relatively easy to make,
Increasingly difficult to honour.
Everyone doesn't care though
Neglect sets in at one point.
Demeaning, disturbing the bond.

Unfortunately it's too late sometimes.
Never reversing damages are done.
For people to link hands again.
Revert back to what they were.
Ignoring someone isn't a way
Everytime their memories haunt.
Nagging thoughts, spilling tears.
Dashing hopes and forgotten talks.

That's written in honour of a broken friendship.
