"Many beasts have been said to roam the land. From the powerful mighty griffin, to a small mischievous mouse. There is one that is said to be like the powerful dragon and the loyal canine.

Known simply as Druppers, these beasts are very dangerous. They vary in both size and weight, with the largest recorded to be five times bigger than an elephant, and four times the weight of one as well.

They, like wolves, tend to stay in packs. However, not all do, some find it easier to live alone or in a pair. They're assumed to be very adaptable as they are found in many different biomes from underwater in the coldest temperatures, to volcanic mountains.

Druppers live on a large secluded island in the ocean. Their fearsome power keeps most adventurers away.

The features of these beasts is not well known, the only drawing of them is an artist's rendition of what they appeared to look like."

"They appear to be furred, and contain mostly canine-like features. The most draconic feature about them would be their wings and horns.

A small hard bone points down on the outside of their maw, often thought of as a tusk, but it's actual function is unknown.

Their ears tend to vary in length and size, some look more like canine ears while others don't.

Their tails, vary in length and look as well. Some may be draconic, others might be more like a canine. There are even some with little to no tails at all.

The horns of a drupper are highly varied, some have one, others can have four. Some horns look similar to goats or deer, and some have their own design entirely.

Not all Druppers usually have wings, however all Druppers have the potential to eventually grow them. Those that do have wings often have tattered and torn ones, most likely an easy target for enemies when in battle.

Druppers are believed to have magical powers. Ones that are linked to elements, which will determine the magic they use. These elements are: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Storm, Metal, Nature, Ice, and Light/Dark.

Light/Dark Druppers are often referred to as simply Light Druppers.

Each element resides in a pack of the same element and a unanimous avoidance of mixing elements keeps most from seeking mates of different elements. A sense of pride is likely the cause of this.

However, there is recorded evidence of hybrid elementals, proving their existence.
Non-hybrid elementals seek out hybrids in an attempt to wipe them from existence. This is often successful, as when a young drupper reaches a certain age, their powers come to fruition without their control.

Despite all this information there is still a large amount of information on Druppers that is still unknown.

Use extreme caution when faced with one. If you find out more information about these beasts reveal information to others so that these logs may become more informed."

Author's Note: Hello readers! This is a book I've been working on for a while now. I wanted to show off a preview of all my hard work. Since this is all still a work in progress, things like the description, title, and cover may change. I will let y'all know of these changes when they happen.
