Avi's POV

I had been Internet friends with this dude, Scott, for a year now. We because really close and FaceTimed almost every night. But tonight when he FaceTimed me, I was nervous. Very nervous. You can probably guess why, but I'm going to tell you anyways.

I was in love with him.

No one knew. No one even knew that I was gay. Well, with the exception of Scott. He was the only on who knew that I was gay. I didn't tell anyone else because I thought they wouldn't except me. And the only reason I told Scott is because he is gay to.

*ringgggg dingggggdingggg* I heard my FaceTime ringtone go off. I picked up my phone and answered.

"Hey Scott!" I said excitedly.
"Hey man. How've you been?"
"Dude," I said, "we literally talked yesterday."
"I know, but...whatever. How was your day today?"
"It was good. But um...I need to tell you something." 
"Oh no. This doesn't sound good."
"Well, it may not be. But I don't know how you'll see it." I said.
"Okay. Go ahead and tell me." Scot said.
"I, actually, it's kinda a song..."
"Well then sing it."
"Right. Um. Here it goes. Oh. And I wrote it." I said.

I counted the stars tonight,

"So...that's it. What do you think?"
"Did.. You write that for me?" He asked.
I looked at him. "Yes."
"Do you really mean what you said in the song? Or, I mean, sang?"
I looked at him again. "Yes."

Then my screen turned black. He left the call. Shit I thought to myself. Now he'll never want to talk to me again.

I tried calling Scott after dinner. No answer.
I tried calling him the next day. Again, nothing.
I tried calling him two days later. And still, nothing.

It was four days since Scott found out that I liked him. I was just sitting on my bed, home alone, when I heard a knock on my door. I went to answer it and before I could even tell who it was, I felt lips slamming onto mine.

"I have loved you so much Avi."
By this time I knew it was Scott.
"S-Scott. How did you get here?"
"I flew, you silly. I spent all my saving to come see you, because I love you." Scott said.
"Scott I-I don't know what to say. I love you too, and in glad you came but..-"
Scott cut me off. "But what?"
"But you didn't need to spend all your money."
"Avi, I would do anything for you. Spending all of my money is just one of the many things."
