Avi's POV

Kevin and I haven't spent a lot of time together recently. Just so much with work and everything, so, we decided to go on a little walk. It was so beautiful outside. The sky was so clear. The stars so bright. It was absolutely gorgeous.

We were walking down our favorite street in our neighborhood. It was so silent. So romantic. It was perfect. We passed a little swinging bench and decided to stop there for a little bit and talk.

"We really needed this." I said. "I sort of feel..almost like...we were falling apart. And I honestly really didn't want that to happen. I just love you so much."
"Avi....I would never let us fall apart. You mean more than the world to me. And you know that."
"I do. But...I just couldn't help but feel like you weren't into me anymore. I mean. We never spent time together." I said.
Kevin just looked at me and smiled reassuringly, then we leaned in for a kiss. It was so very passionate. I could taste his cherry Chapstick on his plump lips. He was such a good kisser.
"Now do you think I'm still into you?"
I laughed. "Yes. I love you."
"I love you more."

We got up and continued walking home.

"I wish we could do this every night." Kevin said sliding his had into mine. They were a perfect fit. Like they were made to be together.
"Oh I do to, babe, more than you know." I sad looking at him smiling.

Everything was amazing. We were walking back to our house now. About to turn into our driveway.

But then something went wrong.

We heard a gun shot. Extremely close to us.

Then, next to me, I heard something fall.
