”What’s your word, darling?”

I thought for a while, trying to select something that would be easy to remember.

Finally settling for one. ” Pain, ” I murmured.

”Very creative, Ana, ” he stated, sounding amused.

My breath hitched as I heard the sound of an engine starting.

”Turn around, Ana. Don't be scared.”

Slowly, I turned. Facing what is supposed to be used on me.
A lot of weird tools and equipment.

He placed a red strip of cloth over my eyes, making me see just red.

”You had to use red, didn't you?” I spoke for the second time today. I had been too nervous to say anything. This was a new experience for me.

”Red was the only color I found there.”

”Should we begin?” I heard him ask.

Letting out a nervous sigh, I nodded in agreement.

”Remember to say the word when it gets too much for you, ” he said and I nodded again.

”You do know why we blindfolded you, right?” I heard another voice say and I nodded yet again.

The blindfold was necessary because of my laser vision. My eyes go crazy whenever it sees something reaching to harm me. I knew that they wouldn't do anything to intentionally hurt me, but these tests were necessary to know how much hurt my body can take before I start feeling pain.

”Okay, let's begin the test series. We start with current, heat, force, and then ice, ” a woman said before I felt the first bolt of electricity.
