You are a woman
You are you everyday
Why celebrate one day?
Why not each day?

Has womanhood obliterated?
Or hypocritical existence
Of men celebrated?

Exalt her sacrifices 
For a day
Then denigrate and abuse her
The very next day

Respecting women 
Hurts male ego
Inflicting pain
Sates his ego

All is a sham
Women are not loved
They are used 
A sacrificial lamb in
Male dominated society

Emotionally and physically weak
Assurance  men need
Frustration to circumvent
Women are their punching bags

See the irony now
Women bear the brunt
And still stand head up
Who is weak and who is strong?

I dare the men
Taste their own medicine 
Watch them fall
Like a pack of cards
At the very first breath
Of their own vile poison

How is that bearers
Of human life
On this planet
Are treated with such apathy
That even cruelty is ashamed

A sin, that threatens 
The existence of this race
Committed every moment
Every breath

But the eyes are closed
The hearts don't sway
Egos are huge
They rather die
Than show respect.
