A WEEK LATER...

Scar's POV

The video I'd recorded went viral. It even appeared on the newspaper, which I was reading right now. 

BREAKING NEWS: FAMOUS YOUTUBERS PEARLESCENTMOON, GEMINITAY AND ZOMBIECLEO REPORTED MISSING.

I nearly choked on my cookie. Zombiecleo? I coughed and drank some water. Xisuma and Grian walked into the room. 

"Scar, you good?" Xisuma asked, patting my back. I nodded and showed him the article.

"Cleo too?!" Grian gasped. He snatched the paper and read further into the writing. His eyes widened and he covered his mouth with a hand. "'ZombieCleo was reported missing on Saturday, June 13th.' That's a couple days before Pearl!" He said.

False came into the room, Mumbo behind her. "What's happening?" False asked, grabbing a cookie from the plate. 

"Cleo's missing, too." Xisuma explained. "Two days before Pearl, not including the days they went missing."

False read the paper over Grian's shoulder. "They're going for the HermitCraft ladies." She said. "That means I'm next."

I shook my head. "We won't let that happen." I said fiercely. Jellie meowed her agreement.

Xisuma nodded. "You're strong, False. They couldn't get you if they tried." He said.

Grian and Mumbo shared a look. 

False just shook her head and took another cookie.

"Those are mine!" I whined, pulling the plate closer to me. "HEY!" I yelped as Grian stole two of them.

"If this was a story," False started. "Then if I step outside, I will be kidnapped."

"If this was a story, I'd be the favorite character!" I said, spreading my arms out in the air.

"No, I'd be the favorite!" Grian said with a mouth full of cookie.

All of our phones dinged at the same time. I pulled mine out and read the message. Xisuma gasped. False shook her head, tears pricking her eyes.
