So Pure, So Innocent, So Gullible
Narrator's POV
"Here, let me introduce you to some of my friends." Timothy told Stephen, approaching a group of boys gathered around a tree kicking something around with their ankles, a small colored sack.
"Hey Tim." One said, they all looked up.
"Guys, Tim's here." Another said. Everyone approached him.
"Hey guys." Timothy greeted. Stephen stood quietly next to him.
A boy looked at Stephen. "Whoa, who's the witch doctor?" He asked.
Then they all looked over at Stephen.
"Yeah, and what's he wearing?"
"Guys." Timothy spoke. "This is Stephen. He's a new student here."
All the other boys' faces lit up.
"Ah." A boy smiled. "I'm Bucky." He stuck his hand out for Stephen to shake.
"Oh, nice to meet you." Stephen said, shaking his hand.
"I'm Clint." A boy with black fingerless gloves said.
"I'm Everett, but you can call me Ross." Said another with slicked back hair. He dressed very formal like Timothy.
"Now that you've all introduced yourselves, why don't we show Stephen around?" Timothy asked.
"Oh yeah." Bucky wrapped and arm around Stephen. "We'll give you the grand tour, then we'll show you what every new comer goes through."
The Cloak of Levitation began to tug Stephen away from them.
"What's wrong Stephen? Don't you want to come?" Timothy asked.
"I do." He pulled forward, only to get pulled back by the cloak again. "But, The Cloak of Levitation seems like it doesn't want me to go." He said, still struggling against the cloak.
"Here let me help you with tha-" The cloak slapped Timothy's hand away when he reached for Stephen. "Ah."
"I'm so sorry about that. I don't know what's come over him. He doesn't usually do this." Stephen said.
"Let me take care of it." Bucky tore the cloak away from Stephen, throwing it aside. "Clint." He said.
"On it." Clint suddenly took something out of his pocket, a small device that turned into a bow. He pulled an arrow from behind his back. The cloak was just getting up, when Clint shot an arrow at it, which pinned it to a tree. The cloak struggled to get off the tree.
"Hey watch it." Stephen said. "That's a very ancient-"
"It'll be fine." Timothy said. "Now come on." He pulled Stephen along with the rest of the group.

"Hm." Bruce suddenly looked up from his paper. He and Tony had been working on a project in Tony's room. The same one Tony had been working on since the beginning. It was 8:30 at night. "Hey Tony."
"Hm." Tony said under his welding mask.
"Where's Stephen?" He asked.
Tony stopped his welding and lifted his mask. "Who?" He asked, looking at Bruce.
"Sorcerer Supreme." Bruce said. Tony still looked confused. "Your wizard friend?"
"Oh yeah. Where is he?"
"I just asked you that." Bruce said.
"How should I know? I'm not his babysitter." Tony went back to welding.
"He's been gone for a while." Bruce said, looking at Stephen's bed. "Do you think maybe he got lost?"
"How should I know?" Tony asked, lifting up what looked like a chest plate. "What do you think?" He asked Bruce who was still looking at Stephen's bed. "Oh come on Bruce. If he got himself lost, he can get himself unlost. He's a wizard."
"But Tony he's new here. He doesn't know anything around here. He doesn't know anyone besides you, me and Tim-" He stopped. "Oh no. Oh no he's new, and knows Timothy." He looked over at Tony.
"Freshmen Initiation." Tony whispered. "Come on Bruce." He got up and ran out the door. "We've got a disaster to avoid."
"Oh man, not again." Bruce ran after Tony.

"And then I said, screw off." Bucky said, making everyone laugh.
Stephen laughed nervously along with the rest of the group. Timothy had a hand around his shoulder. He looked around. It was already dark outside, and the small group of boys were gathered near a creek.
"Hey now." Timothy said as Everett had taken his phone from his pocket. "Come on Ross, give it back."
"Catch!" Everett tossed it over the creek.
Suddenly Timothy stretched his arm out, forming a lily pad above the surface of the water, saving his phone. They all laughed.
Stephen laughed nervously, but suddenly stopped when he felt pressure around his neck. "Hey! Wait!" Stephen turned around.
"It's just a necklace, chill." Clint said. He placed it around his neck. "Look at me, I'm a sorcerer." He said, waving his hands around. Everyone laughed.
"Guys, that's not a toy. I was told to protect it." Stephen explained. "The Ancient One will be very disappointed in me if-"
"The Ancient One?" Everett laughed. "Is he like a the supreme leader?" He asked.
"She." Stephen said. "Now give it back." He reached for it, but Clint pulled away. They laughed.
"Okay, okay. Guys give it back." Timothy stretched his hand out. Clint sighed and handed it to Timothy. "This is important to Stephen, we shouldn't-whoa!" He tripped and the necklace flew out of his hands and went flying toward the creek.
"Ah!" Stephen gasped. He formed a glowing shield above the water, and the necklace bounced off it, and on the other side of the creek. "Phew." Stephen sighed in relief.
"Sorry Stephen, sometimes I plant my feet into the soil and totally forget." Timothy said.
"It's okay. At least it landed safely on the other side." Stephen said. He looked around. "Is there any way around to the other side?" He asked.
"Oh yeah, there's a bridge about five miles in that direction." Bucky pointed in to the right.
"Five miles?" Stephen asked.
"It's either that or go through it." Everett said.
"But I'll get all wet." Stephen said.
"Take off your clothes." Timothy said. Stephen looked at him. "What? We're all boys." Timothy told him.
Everyone looked at Stephen. "Uh... I don't know." Stephen said.
"We understand if you're scared Stephen." Bucky said. "We knew you didn't have it in you."
"Yeah, you're just not that cool." Clint said.
"Guys give him a break. He's weak, but don't pick on him." Timothy said, wrapping an arm around his shoulder.
"I don't need you to defend me, Timothy. I can do it. I'll do it." Stephen said, his face was flustered red with anger.
"You're actually going to do it?" Bucky asked.
"No one has ever done that." Everett said.
"Then let me be the first." Stephen said, puffing his chest out. He felt so brave.
"Wow Stephen, you're hardcore." Timothy said.
Stephen was full of pride, he had the adrenaline running through his veins. He was so pumped up.

"Hurry Bruce." Tony said, running through a wooded area. "It might already be too late."
"It is too late. Look!" Bruce pointed ahead of Tony. He saw Timothy and his group of friends gathered around the creek. Stephen was already in the water.
"Hey! Get away from him!" Tony shouted.
The group of boys looked back at him and stopped their laughter.
"Quick, grab his clothes." Everett said.
Bucky and Clint took Stephen's clothes and ran away. Everett and Timothy ran away. They all laughed as they ran away.
"Yeah! You better run." Tony said. He looked in the water. Stephen was nowhere to be found.
"Where's Stephen?" Bruce asked, squinting, trying to find Stephen in the dark.
"AHH!" Stephen broke through the surface of the water, gasping for air. He saw Tony and Bruce standing at the edge of the creek. "Oh h-hey guys." He shivered, the water was cold. The night was chilly. "J-Just out f-for a night s-swim. Th-the water's r-refreshing." He shivered.
"Stephen get out of there. You'll catch your death out here." Bruce said, taking his lab coat off. Stephen began to swim over to him. "It's only a matter of minutes before hypothermia starts to settle in."
"Two in fact. I've been in here for thirteen minutes." Stephen said. He crawled out of the water, and Bruce placed the white lab coat over Stephen's naked body. Tony stood in front of him with his arms crossed.
"I told you to stop hanging around Timothy." Tony said. Stephen only staid quiet. "What did he toss in the water?" He asked. Stephen revealed the amulet he'd shown Tony earlier. "All over a stupid necklace?" Tony asked.
"It's not a stupid necklace." Stephen said. "The A-Ancient One seemed really w-worried when she bestowed it t-to me." He said.
"You're still on that act? Gosh, you don't know when to quit d-"
"Tony." Bruce interrupted, looking up at him with a "that's enough" look. He was still holding Stephen, who was shivering severely.
"Let's get back to the dorm." Tony said, turning around and walking away from Bruce and Stephen.
"Come on, Stephen." Bruce said, walking next to Stephen, watching him carefully.
"Did y-you know they w-were going to d-do this?" Stephen asked.
"Yeah. They do it to every incoming male student." Bruce explained. "Sorry we didn't tell you earlier. But we did give you a fair warning about Tim." Bruce said.
"Yeah. Guess I should've listened." Stephen said. He looked down at the ground, but his head perked up when he heard a familiar flapping noise. He looked over a tree, his cloak was pinned to it. "Cloak." He tried pulling the arrow out of him, but was too weak.
"Allow me." Bruce said. He pulled it with ease.
The cloak embraced Stephen, but the pulled away and crossed its corners over each other, turning away.
"I know. I'm sorry. I didn't know what I was getting myself into." Stephen apologized. The cloak was still not buying it. "I'll iron you extra good tonight." Stephen said.
The cloak couldn't resist getting ironed. It was so warm, and it softened its fabric. It gave in, and wrapped Stephen right up.
Stephen laughed. "Thanks for forgiving me." He said.
Bruce smiled at the two.
