Here We go
Narrator's POV
"UGH!" Stephen groaned, leaning back in one of Bruce's beanbags. He tossed his head back and covered his eyes.
"What is it this time?" Bruce asked, turning to him with a torch, wearing goggles.
"It's my head." Stephen said.
"Do you need some ibuprofen?" Bruce asked, turning off the torch.
"No, no." Stephen said, and sat up, leaning on his knees now. "It's Tony."
"Oh." Bruce nodded.
"He's just in my head all the time." Stephen said. "Every time I think about him, my stomach feels weird; and my brain gets jumbled up. Sometimes I can't even talk when he's with me. It's like "ajdbeicksnwifekwooti"." He said.
Bruce laughed. "God, someone help this boy get his emotions together."
"For real." Stephen fell back.
"Why don't know you ask him out already? You know he likes you too. Just go for it." Bruce sat next to his friend.
"I don't wanna date Stephen." Tony said.
"Sure." Bruce said.
"I just wanna hold his hand in public, and I wanna hear about his day and tell him about mine, and go on long drives with him, and cuddle him everyday, but I don't wanna date him." Stephen said.
"Are you serious?" Bruce asked.
"What?" Stephen sat up and looked at him.
"That's exactly what dating someone is." Bruce said.
"Ugh, Bruce. You don't understand." Stephen said. "He's in here." He pointed at his head. "It's a nightmare having a crush."
"I say you just go for it."
"Oh, yeah? How do I do that?" Stephen joked, falling back into the beanbag again.
"Well, why don't you take him up to the roof tonight and tell him you've got something important to tell him?" Bruce suggested.
Stephen sat up suddenly. "Wait, wait. What if I just take him up to the roof tonight and tell him I've got something important to tell him?"
"That's a great idea." Bruce said.
Stephen stood up. "Duh. All my ideas are good ideas."
"Of course." Bruce rolled his eyes.
"Okay. I'm gonna go work on my speech." Stephen jumped into a portal.
"Good luck." Bruce said. He turned back to his chemicals.
"Bruce."
"Ah!" Bruce was spooked and jumped a little. He turned around to see Tony at the doorway. "Oh, it's you." He sighed in relief. "How can I help you?"
"I need to tell you something." Tony said.
Bruce could tell he was serious. "Of course. Always." Bruce took Tony by the hand and sat him on one of the beanbags. He sat next him. "What is it?"
"Okay. So you know how I told you that I was falling hard for Stephen?" Tony spoke.
"Uh-huh." Bruce nodded.
"Okay, so the other day I was sleeping, right?" Tony said. Bruce nodded. "And since Stephen and I sleep in the same bed, I kinda have to be careful on where I touch and move and everything." He was really freaked out. "So last night, I couldn't sleep. I really don't know why. I look over to Stephen, who's sleeping peacefully with a cute little smile on his face."
Bruce smiled at him. "Oh, Tony."
"See? You see it too!" Tony said. "I really wanted to just cuddle him, and I did." He gasped.
"What?" A big smile settled on Bruce's face.
"Yeah. I scooted a little closer, playing it off as an accident."
"What happened? Tell me." Bruce said.
"He scooted closer and put his head on my chest." Tony fell back in his beanbag.
"No way."
"Yes!" Tony sat up and looked at Bruce. He took him by the shoulders. "The one thing that is keeping me alive has betrayed me and made me fall into a pit of feelings. It's disgusting."
Bruce laughed. "It's funny because I just had-"
"Bruce this isn't a laughing matter. I need help. Help me. I have a crush. A crush!" Tony shook him.
"Okay, okay." Bruce said, pulling away from Tony. An idea popped into his head. "Uh, why don't you take him up to the roof tonight and just tell him how you feel?" He said.
"That's a great idea!" He jumped up. "Bruce, you're a genius!"
"Yeah, I know." Bruce smiled at his friend, standing up.
"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." Tony hugged him.
Bruce laughed. "Okay, okay." He pulled away. "Go get him cowboy."
Tony raced out of the room.
Bruce shook his head and smiled. "Good luck."
"Who are you talking to?"
"GAH!" Bruce jumped up. He turned around. Thor stood behind him, eating an apple.
"What?" Thor turned around. "Was there something behind me?" He asked as he turned back to Bruce.
Bruce blushed and hid his blushing face in his hands. "No. No. Never mind." He walked away.

It was already dark outside when Stephen sat on his bed, peacefully reading. Tony walked into the room.
"Tony." Stephen looked up and smiled.
"Wizard." Tony said, he went over to his desk and sat down. He looked over at Stephen, who was still looking at him.
They both looked away from each other, blushing.
An awkward silence suddenly settled in the room.
"Soooo..." Tony started. Stephen looked up at him. "You doin' anything tonight?"
"Nope. Nothing." Stephen shook his head. "Are you?" He asked.
"No." Tony answered.
"Good." Stephen said.
"Good." Tony said. "You know I-" Tony was cut off by Stephen.
"Listen, I-" Stephen stopped once he realized he'd cut Tony off.
"Oh, go ahead." Tony said.
"No, no. You go. You were talking first." Stephen insisted.
"No, it's fine." Tony said.
"It's okay. You go." Stephen shook his head.
"Oh, okay." Tony looked down. He took in a deep breath and looked up at Stephen. "Hey, you wanna go up to the roof and talk?" He asked.
"You know, that sounds like a great idea." Stephen nodded. He opened a portal to the roof.
"Great." Tony said. "After you." He offered Stephen.
"Oh, thank you." Stephen stepped onto the roof. Tony came in after him. The portal closed.
The night was starry and the moon shone brightly. It was a beautiful night. The two boys sat down on the ledge of the building. They gazed up at the stars.
Tony sighed, and looked down below him. Stephen looked at him.
"What is it, Tony? Is something bothering you?" He asked.
"Yes, actually." He said. "There's something I've been meaning to tell you for a long time." Tony looked up at Stephen. "That's why I wanted to talk up here, so we could have some privacy."
"To be honest..." Stephen sighed. "I also have something very important to tell you that I've been meaning to tell you for a while now."
"Oh." Tony's head perked up. "Go ahead."
"No, no. You go ahead. You first." Stephen offered.
"Hell no. You first." Tony said.
"Let's just say it together then." Stephen said.
"Okay." Tony replied.
"On three." Stephen raised up three fingers. "One...two..." Each finger went down as he counted. "Three." Stephen took in a deep breath as closed his eyes tightly. Tony did the same. "I LIKE Y-"
"LET'S FUCK TONI-I LIKE YOU TOO!!!" Tony tried to play it off.
Stephen suddenly felt angry. He felt as if Tony saw him as nothing but an object, just like everyone else. He stood up. "You know what? Never mind." He began to walk away.
"Wait, nooooooo." Tony chased after him, but Stephen opened a portal and closed it before Tony could get in it. Tony sighed. Now he had to take the long way down.

"Stephen I-"
"Mm." Stephen interrupted Tony.
The two were laying in bed, staring at the ceiling. A pillow sat between them, separating the two. Stephen was the one that put the pillow there, he was angry with Tony.
"Listen, I-" Tony only got a pillow to the face.
"I don't want to hear it." Stephen turned his back to Tony and closed his eyes, not even bothering to say goodnight.
A long, long night laid ahead of Tony.
