The sounds of gunshots ring out as the clock struck 12 in the afternoon on copper-9. A worker drone fell limp onto the snow with a bullet lodged into his visor. Y/N smiled as he approached the corpse rifle in hand admiring his handy work for a few moments before picking the body up and carrying it back to the spire. He had decided to go out and hunt some worker drones who thought they were safe when the sun came up only to get hit with a harsh reality check. Y/N hoped this would put him in J's good books earning trust between him and the bossy drone. He knew that doing a good job would sweeten the her up and as a matter of fact J was already more fond of Y/N then N who she's known for much longer. The reason being Y/N gets more kills a night and doesn't need oil to survive and gives it to her and the others.

N was the easiest to grow close to he was friendly from the get go and more then happy to have Y/N as a friend. But a few weeks have passed and now those flirty remarks towards him has made N think about Y/N even more but in what way that he cannot understand yet.

And then there's V and.......and Y/N really doesn't know how to soften her up yet. J's bossy and likes to be respected, N is cheerful and enjoys company but V's just a straight up psychopath! How's he meant to soften her up?

He could think of a way of doing that later though right now he had some hunting to do.

Seeing that no one was around to watch him Y/N teleports around the area in hopes of finding any worker drones and more specifically worker drones with the pieces of the absolute solver.

Y/N: Hey fabric of the great unknown and the voice in my head. Are you detecting any large power signatures nearby?

????: No the only one I'm picking up is ours....naturally.

Y/N: We got to run into one of them eventually although I already know one drone who has one of my fragments.

????: Ah yes my former inferior host.
But how will we get to her and that human?

Y/N: No need to come to them because once they figure out we're here then they'll come to us. All we need to do is be patient and wait.

Y/N teleports on top of a skyscraper when he spots the sign of movement.

Y/N: Right now though let us entertain ourselves with a little murder.

????: And you say V is the psychotic one.

Y/N: You think killing worker drones is crazy? We've destroyed entire planets and this is what makes me psychotic?

????:.......touché.

Y/N teleports down and soon echoes of screams ring out across the city.

The next time Y/N is seen is when he's returned to the spire hours later carrying three dead worker drones on his shoulders climbing into the pod greeting his team.

Y/N: Honey I'm hooome and I've bought presents!

Y/N drops the corpses bringing delight to V who drooled at the sight of oil.

Y/N: Hey J, V....Hey handsome.

He said to N who hid his face behind his tail blushing.

J: I was about to ask where you've been but now seeing the bodies I already know the answer.

Y/N: Figured you guys could use some oil when you woke up.

V: Damn right I do I'm parched.

N: Awww that's soo thoughtful of you Y/N thank you!

Y/N: Don't sweat it N had nothing better to do then kill worker drones anyway.

J: Your really pulling your weight around Y/N if your trying to impress me then it's definitely working.

Y/N: (Ah that's what I needed to hear.)

V grabs a corpse for herself and so does J but when N reached for the last body J snatched it away from.

J: Get your hands off that! That's for me not you. Maybe I'll spare one for you some day when your done being such a burden!

J walks away leaving N to look down deflated and upset. Y/N walks over to him and hands him a flask much to N's suprise.

Y/N: Go on it's oil. I took some out before getting here knew J would do something like that out of spite.

N's eyes sparkle and he gulps down the liquid in one go making Y/N laugh.

Y/N: Someone's thirsty and it ain't me for once.

N sighs and passes Y/N back his flask.

N: Thanks.

Y/N: Anything for my favourite disassembly drone.

Y/N starts petting N on the head who starts to enjoy it wagging his tail like a dog.

N: (Wow Y/N is so nice to me he makes me feel wanted and special unlike J or V.)

V comes back after finishing off her meal as Y/N stopped petting N.

V: Hey Y/N you think your good to head back out there?

Y/N: Yeah why?

V: Sun's about to go down and you know what that means. More kills and more OIL OF THE INNOCENT.

Y/N: Okay calm down sweetheart any more talking about oil and the USA might come knocking.

V: Cool N is tagging along with you J's making him your permanent partner while I work with her.

Y/N: Sounds good to me right N?

N: Yeah teamwork makes the dream work!

Y/N: Shame you don't have nice thighs like V's though.

N: Thighs!?

V smirks at Y/N's flirting and brushes her tail across his crotch.

V: My, my your a horny one aren't you? Maybe if you keep up with these kills I'll let you have a feel of them or maybe more then just that~

Y/N: (Whistles) That offer sounds more then tempting.

V smirked and flicks her tail when J barges in.

J: Alright Y/N stop thirsting these two up and get ready we're about to go.

Y/N: Sorry boss but I can't help it. If it makes you feel any better though you have some killer thighs yourself.

J goes red and looks away.

J: That's enough Y/N!

Y/N: Alright, alright I'll calm down.

J: Let's just go already prey won't hunt itself.

J and V leave the pod and N looks at Y/N.

N: Do you always flirt with evrey drone you see?

Y/N: Only the hot ones but don't worry N out of you, V and J your definitely the cutest.

N: (Blushes) cute?.....

Y/N exits the pod and N follows suit regrouping outside with V and J. Y/N looks up and sees dark clouds over the night sky indicating an incoming storm.

Y/N: Might wanna get back quickly though looks like a storm is brewing.

V: That's not gonna be good.

J: If a blizzard settles in our visibility is going to be practically zero.

Y/N: But that also means worker drones might be taking cover from tbe storm so we should check in buildings in case they're hiding inside of them.

J: Great thinking even though I was going to suggest that.

Y/N: (Rolls eyes) Sure you were. (Narcissistic bitch.)

N: Be safe out there you two!

V: Whatever.

J: Try to keep Y/N alive but you can die in the storm for all I care. It's not like you do anything useful anyway.

V and J fly off as Y/N pats N's back.

Y/N: Don't listen to her your not useless not to me at least.

N: Oh don't worry Y/N its fine J's just in a bad mood today.

Y/N: N she's like this evrey day I don't want to know what's she's like on a bad day.

Y/N and N start to prowl the land looking for worker drones as heavy winds start to blow in.

Y/N: Listen if you ever need someone to talk to about how J and V treat you then you only need to ask. I could try to convince them to be less harsh on you seeing that J's more fond of me even though I've been here for what? Only a few weeks?

N: You don't need to do that for me I'm not worth all that trouble-

Y/N: Like hell you ain't do you even hear yourself? Of course your worth all that hassle! Don't doubt yourself like that N never doubt yourself under any circumstance.

N: But J always think I'm a let down who just gets in the way.

Y/N: Care less about what J thinks about you or what V thinks about you focus more on how you think about yourself! Who cares what other people think about you? And personally-

Y/N forces N to look at him.

Y/N: I think your sweetest drone I've ever met who cares about his friends and his team who is dying for someone on this backwards planet to actually give a damn about him like how he cares for others. Even though I come off as a flirt I do genuinely care about you N and I genuinely feel attracted to you!

Y/N's kind words bring N to near tears.

N: You really mean evreything you just said?

Y/N: Evrey damn word N I just don't care about you I LOVE YOU. Even though we met only weeks ago I love you.

Y/N let's N go and leads him towards a set of skyscrapers.

Y/N: I'll let your pretty head soak in evreything I just said and if you do also develop the same feelings like I have then don't be afraid to confess because I'll definitely say yes.

Y/N points towards a building nearby.

Y/N: Let's check this building for any hiding worker drones. We can use it as shelter in case a blizzard hits.

N nods and follows Y/N a warm and fuzzy feeling filling his heart something that he once thought he only felt for V leaving him conflicted.

The hours pass and the human and murder drone hunt around the city killing two worker drones who were hiding in a gas station. Y/N took advantage of the gas station breaking open a gas pump draining it of any remaining diesel it had in case N got thirsty.

N was touched by Y/N's care and consideration for him checking up on him evrey now and then even stopping to ask if he was tired and needed to rest. His heart started to beat faster around the human his visor started blushing from time to time. His mind wavered back to Y/N's confession again and again but N however was two minded. He still had a crush on V but she's given him the cold shoulder for lord knows how long while as Y/N in the short amount of time knowing him has treated him with kindness and love. What choice does he make? Is a relationship between a drone and human even allowed?

The winds worsened as Y/N and N searched a building for any sign of life but to no avail. They looked from room to room but there was no sign of any worker drones or any indication that any have been here recently.

N: I haven't found anyone in here!

N shouted from another room.

Y/N: Haven't found anyone neither! This place is a dud let's bounce and search the next building!

Y/N and N went towards the exit but upon looking outside they stop.

Y/N: Ummmm we may have a problem.

Outside of the building the entire area was blinded by a raging blizzard and hurricane like winds. The doors was slammed shut by the winds which prevented them from being opened trapping Y/N and N inside as the storm raged on.

N: Oh biscuits.

Y/N: Guess we're staying here for a while huh?

N: Yep.

Y/N: Might as well get comfortable while we're here then.

Y/N and N enter an empty staff room and sit on a couch hearing the winds outside.

Y/N: This blizzards gonna be going on all night by the looks of it.

N: I wonder if V and J are going to be okay.

Y/N: Knowing them they'll fine.

Y/N hands N the diesel he took from the gas station.

Y/N: Here just to make sure you don't overheat.

N: It's okay my systems are cool right now but I'll definitely drink this later on.

N sighs and sits on the sofa looking at Y/N shyfully while Y/N had his feet up on the couch chilling. Y/N checks his pistols for any damage or rust. Y/N yawns feeling tired and feels like falling asleep but he decides to make his move on N and seal the deal.

Y/N: Hey N? Feeling tired I might catch some Z's.

N: Oh okay I'll be sure to keep as quiet as possible and try not to wake you.

Y/N: Well I was kinda hoping you'd join me in sleeping on the couch.

This causes N to turn tomato red.

N: S-sleep.....with....(squeaks) You?

Y/N smirks and grabs N pushing him down onto the couch thier bodies only inches away.

N: (HOLY SWEET BUTTERSIDE BISCUITS!)

Y/N: (Smirks) Yeah just you and me cuddling with one another doesn't that sound great?

N: I don't know Y/N this is all happening soo quickly......but-

Y/N: But a part of you is liking this isn't it?

N: Uhhhhh y-yeah but I don't know if this feels right.

Y/N: There ain't nothing wrong with this N. I like you, you like me, love at first sight and all that jazz. Also if it didn't feel right why have you wrapped your tail around me?

N: My tail?

N looks at Y/N's waist and realised that his body on its own accord had wrapped his tail around Y/N's waist dragging him closer.

Y/N: You didn't realise you did that did you? It was your body doing it's own thing because it wants this doesn't it?

N: (Flusters) Maybe it does I don't know!

Y/N: Shhhhh.

Y/N shushes N.

Y/N: Alright N here's what I'm about to do. I'm gonna gently grab your cheek and then I'm gonna press my lips against yours and then I'll ask you if you want to be in a relationship with me. If at any point you feel uncomfortable with me doing this just say so and I'll get off and give you some personal space got it?

N tries to find the words to respond but couldn't so he just nods.

Y/N: Good.

Doing exactly what he said he would Y/N grabs N's face and pulls him closer for a kiss. N's mind and body however refused to let Y/N stop and instead wanted this even though N could not understand why.

But do you know what he thought?

Screw it.

Y/N pressed his lips against N's who took a second to feel his warm touch before wrapping his arms around Y/N's waist melting into the kiss. Memories of the insults flung at him by J or the failed attempts to ask V out who responded by harsh remarks are erased from his mind and he focuses only on Y/N who just made him feel like a million bucks giving him all the love that they could not.

Y/N slowly parts his lips from N who now had an embarrassed yet happy smile.

Y/N: So how about it? Wanna give this a shot?

N: Yeah but.....can we keep this a secret from the others? I'm scared by how they'll react.

Y/N: If that's what you want N we'll tell them when you feel comfortable enough.

N: Thanks.

Y/N lays N on his chest and they wrap thier arms around eachother.

N: You were right Y/N cuddling does feel nice.

Y/N: Told you.

The two slowly close thier eyes and fall asleep in eachother arms.

N: I love you Y/N.

Y/N: I love you too N.
