Pax talked to Misty a bit more, and she learned that Misty's pet clinic was also a pet shelter. After hearing this, Lily had begged and begged her to adopt a cat, a dog, something, anything! So, they were on their way to see what Misty had for them.

Misty smiled at the girls as they stepped out of the car. Misty had Tanner's same icy blue eyes, but hers were more open and kind. She had long blonde hair, presumably from her mother. She waved them over to her. "Hey, Pax. Great to see you!" "You, too." "So, how's Peyton?" "Doing well." "And Dad?" "I don't know. He did ask about you though." Misty's eyes seemed sad that her father still didn't ever speak to Pax. "And this must be Lily," Misty said, shaking her sadness off and directing her attention towards Lily. "Yeah, I am. Nice to meet you." "I've heard a lot about you." Pax's cheeks heated up. She didn't want Lily to know! "Enough small talk. Lily wants a pet!" Misty and Pax laughed and Pax led them to the shelter area.

Lily squealed and petted every animal they saw.

After a lot of difficult decision-making, the girls chose a black cat called Molly. The cat laid back and sort of smiled, as if to say, 'yes, worship me' every time she was petted.

The girls took Molly home, and Lily called Travis over just to prove that they had a cat. And probably to have sex as well, because that's what they did. Both Lily and Pax found it hilarious that Molly really did take Travis's pants, and curled up on top of them.

Ok, yeah, I'm sure you're all like, 'I wanted a girl x girl story, not this! I want my money back!' Well too bad cause you didn't pay to read this, idiot. And, yeah, I'm sorry that it's escalating so slowly, but in most stories I read, they've kissed, had sex and gotten married by the first chapter (total exaggeration, but still), and, I can't escalate too quickly, 'cause Pax isn't even sure if she likes Lily yet!

And, this song is Confident by Demi Lavato. It is because Molly is so prissy and confident.
