Travis slammed his face into his pillow, not caring that his glasses were about to shatter like dried clay, and began to cry. He didn't care that it had been months since Lily had yelled at him the most heartbreaking sentences he'd ever heard. He didn't care how long it'd been. He had almost loved her. But, she had never even liked him. It all felt like his insides were being ripped out through his left eyeball.

Whatever. He could find someone new. Just watch me, he thought as he left his apartment, in the direction of the bar.
