Pax got up a couple minutes after Travis left (see? Lily didn't really love her) and walked into the kitchen, hoping she didn't run into Lily. She wouldn't have come out at all if she wasn't so damn hungry. Lily lay on the couch, a glass bottle in her hand. "Hey-y-y," Lily said, her left eye oddly droopy. "Lily, you're drunk," Pax said calmly, grabbing a half-eaten sandwich from the fridge. "Why is it that I know everything about you but you don't even know my middle name?" "Because you've never told me anything about yourself." Lily grabbed Pax's shoulder and forced her to face her. "Well, I'll tell you now. My name is Lilianna Annemarie Norris. My mom was abusive. My dad, he left us when I was four. I grew up going to school with different bruises every day. I had a brother, once." "Once? What happened to him?" Pax asked. "Shh, don't interrupt. It's very rude. And, I've never been in love before." Pax blushed at this. Lily leaned forward, but Pax put her hand up. "Don't." Lily looked hurt. "You're drunk. You should get some rest," Pax said, changing the subject. "Only in your bed," Lily insisted. "You're fucking crazy," Pax said. A smile tugged at Lily's lips.
