Mentions of Pickle x Knife.

Plot: Pickle finds out they're may be a "war" over someone's love in the hotel...

Fluff

Pickle couldn't believe what he had overheard while sitting down in the secret and special second floor living room, which was only accessible to employees and Test Tube, as he had never heard such passive-aggressive arguing.

He knew that one of the voices was Salt, as her shouting voice was known to everyone in the hotel. The other voice, though, he couldn't figure out, as he had never heard that voice before. 

Pickle decided to use process of elimination to determine who the other voice was. First off, he was one of six people that were in the hotel, as the rest were on a trip. The remaining six were himself, Knife, OJ, Paper, Salt, and Pepper.

Pepper stayed behind for OJ and Paper's sake, considering Salt stayed behind to try to get closer to OJ. He stayed behind to spend more time with (and care for) Knife, who stayed behind because he wasn't feeling well. Paper and OJ stayed behind to do work together.

By process of elimination, he excluded Knife, who was sleeping, himself (obviously), Salt (obviously), and Pepper, who was in her room doing...whatever she was doing. So that left Paper and OJ.

If OJ yelled at Salt, Salt would respond with some weird "lovey-dovey" response, so that left Paper, who Pepper had NEVER heard arguing with someone before. Pickle, know really interested in the conversation, "leaned into" (put his face to the floor) the conversation, only to hear what they were talking about.

Pickle smirked, got up from the floor, and went downstairs, trying to be as quiet as possible, as to not alert Salt, Paper, OJ, or Pepper. Knife was asleep, so Pickle wouldn't alert him even if he tried to.

While the two were having their passive-aggressive argument, Pickle snuck past them and went into OJ's office, only to see him asleep. Pickle silently closed the door, still not altering anyone, and stayed in OJ's room until he woke up, which was 2 hours later.

The argument had ended an hour ago and Paper was off doing whatever he felt like doing while Salt went back up to her room, indicating that she either lost the argument or wanted to tell Pepper about it.

OJ was curious on why Pickle had been waiting in his room for two hours, as that didn't seem like something Pickle would do, but then Pickle told him why he was there and OJ immediately understood the waiting.

Paper had NEVER had any arguments with anyone, except for a brief argument with Knife over 7 years ago, so this surprised OJ. OJ was gay, but he didn't tell any one except for Paper, Pickle, and Knife.

Paper was also gay, but only told Pickle and Knife, as he had a crush on OJ and didn't want him finding out. Paper was a worrywart, which everyone knew before OJ won the hotel, before the end of season 1, in fact.

Pickle and Knife were also gay and were dating each other, which only Paper and OJ knew. Pickle, for the sake of Paper's sanity, kept Paper's secrets secret, not wanting to accidentally cause drama.

This passive-aggressive argument would be the first secret of Paper's that Pickle purposely revealed to someone else, that "someone else" being OJ, obviously.

OJ decided to review the security camera footage, which had secret microphones hidden inside of them and, sure enough, Salt and Paper were having a passive-aggressive argument over...him. Pickle was trying to hold in his laughter as OJ blushed heavily.

Pickle had known of Paper's crush for a while, and had actually teased Paper about it, which would always make him flustered. Sure, that almost got Paper to reveal Pickle's relationship, but Pickle didn't care.

Anyways, Pickle continued laughing as OJ left the room, wanting to confess his love to Paper so it would stop the two of them (Salt and Paper) from fighting, as he didn't want other people to get involved.

Paper went to his garden to plant and care for his plants, which he had for years and kept protected under a tent he had installed. While he was doing this, OJ was searching for him in the hotel, not thinking of the garden Paper had.

Eventually though, Paper started walking back into the hotel, just as OJ was prepared to go upstairs. Instead, OJ waited down the stairs as Paper walked into the door. The two greeted each other and started a conversation.

Soon, the conversation changed from "day" to "gardening" to "friendships" to "relationships". They talked for what had seemed like forever, but they eventually stopped talking and were about to go their separate ways when OJ turned around, kissed Paper, and said, "You do know the cameras have tiny microphones in them, right?~", before turning away, only to be pulled back and kissed more deeply by Paper, who said, "It's always nice to do new things~", before turning away, leaving both of them flustered.

Pickle smirked before chuckling.
