Aura turned to Swift. I've received a rather curious letter from Starbeam." She informed, pass ing the crinkled roll of parchment to her sister.  It red, in their friend's elegant cursive,

Dear friends,

It will take me quite a long time to gather all the shards and form the Crystal of Life. In the mean time, I suggest you take the Elementals to a place where they cannot be found. Somewhere bleak and deserted. Somewhere no-one would think of searching.

How about Bleak Seas?

Good. I sense you nodding your head as you read this.

It will be a rough journey, but you must persevere. Just go down the White Waterfall, cross the Roaring Rapids, go through the Storm;s Mist, and you will arrive. In the midst of Bleak Sea, a small island can be found.

The Island is surrounded by thick mists. The Storm Element will be able to manipulate them, as will you, Aura. Swift will be able to see through thinner mists. It will be made mostly of sand and rock. There will be huge trees that keep the sand together with their roots. You will have to build a shelter yourself if you wish to star there.

But if I were you, I'd stay in the boat for most of the time.

Aura's snout crinkled. "Crystal of Life? Sounds strange." She scoffed. "Star thinks that one letter will make us kill ourselves in freezing winds and waters? No way."  

"But the Elementals could prove useful in the harsh elements" It was Starbeam's telepathy, reaching her mind. "Aaaargh! No! I am not going to risk the cubs-  mean OUR lives just for some silly old rock!" 

She could swear she heard Swift giggle. 

Starbeam's voice flared out once more. "The cubs need to be safe when the time comes. Shadows have enveloped everything. All elements will rage unchecked if they are killed. just go. That is an order from the Leader." 

Aura fumed internally, but she forced herself not to explode in a rage. "Fine. have it your way. I'll pack our things. Swift. get the cubs."
