Chloé and Nathanael!

"Ready or not, here I come. You can't hide," Nathanael sang quietly under his breath. His voice carried throughout the seemingly empty room but he knew better than that. He knew she was close. He could hear the way her breath hitched at his words, almost feel the heart that was pounding away in her chest as it raced.

She was here, and nothing was going to stop him from getting to her. Afterall, there were others that were looking for her as well, and he was determined to get to her first.

In this book, which I am titling Ready or Not, there is no such thing as a miraculous. Chloé now grown up, somehow got pulled into helping long time friend Sabrina Raincomprix become mayor of Paris.

Due to this, she becomes a threat to the other candidate, which is where Nathanael gets pulled in.

Nathanael has been off the radar for years now, and most thought of him to be dead. In reality, he was paid killer. He kills the target, gets paid, and his employer will never speak to or of him again. And he was fine with that. But now, as he looked at the picture of his old highschool bully, he isn't so sure.

Especially after the night the two shared while he tried to gain intel on her and her connections.

So, feeling obligated, he drags the unwilling girl with him as he does his best to eliminate the threats that are coming their way.

Chloé seems to have more secrets than he could have ever imagined, he grows more and more interested in her and vice versa.

Can these two make it past day one? Or will they be dead by the morning?
