Immediately his hand covered my mouth and Ryan said pulling me to him and holding me tight as if his life depend on it. "Darling don't you dare say that. How do you think I will live without you. Although I am happy to know you love me too". 

After a month

Rose/Sophie's POV   

It's been a month since the day Ryan was shot and he has increased the security around us. The investigation is still going as to who shot him. As he recovered his love for me has become intense. Sometimes it scares me that he will turn like Mr. Wilson.

"Rose where are you ?" He shouted.

I ran to our room and asked "Do you need anything Ryan?"

"No I just got scared when I didn't see you next to me" He said smiling.

"Ryan you don't have to worry. You know I am not going out. And there is lot of security around our mansion that no one can come in just like that" I reassured him.

He pulled me to him and said "Rose I can't take the risk of putting you in danger knowingly. I can't be careless. I love you so much that I can't afford to loose you".

"Ryan nothing like that will happen" I said holding him tight and then caressing back of his head.

He pulled away and then kissed my lips and soon the gentle kiss turned into a passionate one.

After 8 months

Nicholas POV

It's been eight months and seeing that I could not contact Ryan and I continued my search for my love and the private investigators I hired told me they will continue to search but so far no results. It was hard time for me but if I wanted to have the woman I love with me I had to keep going so I started concentrating on my work which had piled up from last 2 months.

Being away from Sophie was hurting me but I knew I had fallen for her  and fallen hard but now I have to get up and stand and be strong for her love. I have to keep myself intact so that when I find her she will see me as the strong man and not weak.

I pushed myself to work so that I stay powerful and become even more.

Hendricks and Stan have flown to NY so they can see the progress made on the project and so far they are happy and they have signed another contract for LA with my company. Day by Day I am progressing in my career but my personal life is bleak. Again my thoughts were drawn to Sophie.. how much I missed her... her eyes... her smile...her being in my arms every night and morning...

After 2 years

I was in my thoughts when my secretary knocked and entered "Sir, we have not been able to get Mr. Torres to agree to the deal. He has been rejecting our proposal of buying his company".

"Fine call Anthony and the person handling this deal" I said.

She nodded and left.

For an hour we discussed and I decided I would go ahead and meet Mr. Torres in the hotel. I made my way and when I was about to enter I saw a familiar figure and when I moved further I saw her.

She was standing looking gorgeous in pink Herve Leger bandage dress but I didn't like her exposing her legs. They were for only my eyes, her body was for me and only me. I strode towards her and pulled her from her forearms because she had turned to go back inside when I reached her.

"What the hell are you wearing?" I asked her.

"Excuse me? Do I know you?" She said frowning as if she's never seen me before.

I was shocked for a moment looking at her not believing whether what I was seeing was infront of my eyes because her expression was like who are you.

"Rose come on, client has arrived" I heard another woman calling her.

She snatched her hands from my grip and I still stood like a statue unable to believe she was there infront of me and had even left me as if I didn't matter to her anymore. I strode inside as soon as I realised my search for her, had been successful so I followed and found her there sitting with a blond man and the brunette woman who called her earlier. I made sure to sit near them and I was surprised how she was marketing the product of her company and she made sure the man was impressed and asked to get the contracts ready. Although I was impressed by her knowledge on the product, it didn't sit well with me that she was sitting next to another man.

The other girl who was there with her escorted the man out while she attended the call going to a quiet corner. I followed her and heard "Oh love.. I know you are missing me and yes I have booked the flight for Canada and I will be there tonight".

"I love you too" She said and closed the call. I moved near her and jerked her to me and asked "With whom you were talking".

She looked shocked first and then angrily pulled her hands and said "look man I think you have problems. Earlier I thought you mistook me for someone but now you are closing your limits. Don't you ever touch me again".

I got angry at this and pulled her from her forearms and said "I am crossing limits. Sophie... where have you been for the past 1 year. I have been searching for you day in and out and now I finally found you and you behave as if you don't recognise me".

All the while I was looking in her eyes for any sign that tells me that she is trying to act but there was none it seemed like she was seeing me like a stranger and her next words shook me.

"Look man I think you have the wrong person because I am not Sophie... and I won't be telling you my name because I think you are mentally unstable" She said while trying to pass by me.

I caught her arm again and so she starting shouting "Help me Help me" and soon the security of the hotel ran and seeing that it was bad idea to create a scene I whispered in her ears "You think you escaped for now but I will have my eyes on you" and walked out of the hotel.

I made a call to and old friend and said "I need you to kidnap someone for me. I will text you the details".

I know I promised myself that I will woo her heart but seeing her infront of my eyes and not even recognising me didn't sit well with me.

I reached to my farmhouse and prepared it for the arrival of my love. Soon she was brought inside unconscious and I took her away from the man who brought her and handed over the cash and took her to our bedroom.

Rose POV

I was in call with Ryan when a man held my wrist and yelled at me"What the hell are you wearing?".

I was surprised to see this stranger man looking at me with so much of anger as if he knew me. Even though he was angry I did see he was handsome but right now I need to tell him that he got the wrong person.

"Excuse me? Do I know you?" I asked him.

He looked shocked and then I heard Mia calling me "Rose come on, client has arrived"

I freed myself because I think by now even he realised I was not the person he was looking for because his grip loosened.

I made my way to Mr. Tennesse and he was surely impressed with the new product Ryan's company has launched so since he could not come here I represented him and explained him the profits of investing in our company. From his look I could feel he was convinced and once he agreed to sign the agreement we shook hands and said good byes. I was about to call Ryan when I got call from him. I told Mia to escort Mr. Tennessee before moving to the quite corner.

"Hello Darling how is it going?" He asked.

"It's good and I think he is convinced Ryan" I replied.

"Love I am not very happy that you went to NY without informing me". He said.

"I know Ryan but we need investors and I could not sit and watch you doing all the work and not see the results" I said defensively.

He sighed which I know he does when he thinks I am making a point and he is not happy about "I am missing you love please come back soon. Have you booked your tickets for tonight" He asked.

"Oh love.. I know you are missing me and yes I have booked the flight for Canada and I will be there tonight" I replied.

"I love you Rose" He said

"I love you too" I said before hanging up. I felt myself pulled to a hard chest and the same person who had caught me outside asking me"With whom you were talking".

I was angry now seriously was this new way of making girlfriends so I said "look man I think you have problems. Earlier I thought you mistook me for someone but now you are crossing your limits"

He suddenly got angry and said "I am crossing limits. Sophie... where have you been for the past 2 years. I have been searching for you day in and out and now I finally found you and you behave as if you don't recognise me".

I was convinced one he was psycho and another this Sophie girl ran from him because of his this nature. So in order to not create a scene I said "Look man I think you have the wrong person because I am not Sophie... and I won't be telling you my name because I think you are mentally unstable".

He caught my arm again and this pissed me off and also raised warning bells so I shouted for help and soon the security of the hotel ran and  told him to leave the premises but before he moved out he whispered"You think you escaped but I will have my eyes on you". That left me shocked but I carried on with my schedule.

I made sure that I looked around before moving out of the venue and breathed in relief when I knew I was safe. All I had to do was checkout and make way to airport so I can be safe with Ryan. I think coming alone without him was indeed a bad idea. Who knew there are psychos around. I checked myself out of the hotel and asked the driver to take me to airport but after 15 minutes I felt as if we were moving to opposite direction and when I yelled at driver he stopped the car and soon two other people came in and one of them held me while the other put the rag which had chemical on it. I tried not to smell it in but at last I gave in and fell unconscious.

Sun's rays hit me and I felt hands caressing my cheeks, I slapped them away and mumbled "Please I want to sleep some more".

"But it is already eight and I think you won't want to eat breakfast late" I heard a male voice answering.

I opened my eyes in alarm and saw that it was the same man who was trying to harass me. I got myself abruptly from the bed and said "You...."

"Yes me.. so now you remember me" He said smiling.

"Of course you are the person who was harassing me in the hotel yesterday. But what are you doing in my bedroom" She said and looked around and said "This is not my bedroom".

Nicholas POV

I was angry that she was not calling me by my name and behaving like I was a damn stranger.

Then she realised "Did you seriously kidnapped me" She asked.

I thought at least now she will not feign ignorance but the next words she uttered angered me.

"Look if you want money, my husband will pay you but let me go" She said looking at me in fear. If I  didn't knew any better I would have believed her.

"Sophie quit the act. You and I  we both know that I don't need money" I said clenching my jaws.

"I am not Sophie.. please I am Rose Smith. I am not from here I am from Canada. You got the wrong person" She said in sincere voice.

For a moment I almost believed her but then I remembered that she left me so of course she's lying now.

"Look Sophie.. I know I didn't treat you nicely but please don't act like you don't know me. Curse me, accuse me hell beat me but don't say you don't know me" I begged her.

I saw she ignored and dashed quickly to the door and was trying to escape so I went to her and pulled her back.

"Please let me go. I don't know who you are. I am not Sophie" She said now with tears in her eyes.

I pulled her in a hug and said "Sophie.. please give me a chance".

She nodded and said "I will give you a chance". I smiled pulling away to look in her eyes for confirmation  when she took me by surprise by kneeing me in my balls and ran to the door and opened it and ran out. I fell down after her attack but seeing her escape could not keep me here so I rushed after her and found her struggling with the front door to escape.

I pulled her by her waist and lift her in air dodging her attacks and threw her in sofa and jumped on her so I can make her listen and when she saw she was in no position to move, she looked at me in fear and I felt pain in my heart but I wanted her to understand that I will change so I said "Look Sophie I know you are scared but please give me a chance".

I could see fear in her eyes and when I repeated my sentence about giving me a chance I saw tears rolling out of her eyes "Please get off me".

I wiped them off and moved away and sat on the other sofa. "Look I want to talk" I said seeing she now sat looking at me.

"What do you want to talk" She said.
