Ryder, Pvt. Brian, and the pups were taking care of Skye. They were giving her food, water, and even bandaging her wounds. "Ow!" said Skye as she winced a bit when Ryder was soaking the wound on her right front paw with rubbing alcohol. "Sorry Skye, but I gotta do this in order for you to heal up." said Ryder.

Pvt. Brian decided to track and see where the general, Chase, and Marshall are. He activated the map and it said that Chase and Marshall were still in Barkingburg, but it showed that the general was in the Air Patroller, heading here. "The general ditched Chase and Marshall?" said Pvt. Brian.

The pups were still treating Skye's wounds, but Ryder walked over to Pvt. Brian and asked what was going on. "Pvt. Brian, what's going on?" said Ryder. "Kid, I think Macavich ditched Chase and Marshall. Because the map says that they are still at Barkingburg and that the general is heading here." said Pvt. Brian.

"Why would it say that Chase and Marshall are- wait a minute." said Ryder. "What's wrong?" said Pvt. Brian. "I'm gonna click on Chase and Marshall's names." said Ryder. "Ok. Go for it." said Pvt. Brian. When Ryder clicked on Chase and Marshall,s names, it showed their personal information, such as name, occupation, and date-of-birth. But, at the bottom, it said "K.I.A" in a red font.

Ryder and Pvt. Brian couldn't believe it, it said that Chase and Marshall were deceased. "No. This must be false. It can't be." said Ryder as tears began to fall down his face. "I'm sorry son, but the map doesn't lie." said Pvt. Brian as he placed his hand on Ryder's shoulder.

"What's wrong Ryder?" said Rocky. "Pups, I checked the map to see how the general, Chase, and Marshall are doing." said Ryder. "Are they okay?" said Skye with worry in her voice. "The general is fine. In fact, he's heading here now." said Ryder. "But what about  Chase and Marshall?" said Rubble.

Ryder began to cry once again, so Pvt. Brian decided to take over. "Pups, I'm sorry to say this. Chase and Marshall are gone." said Pvt. Brian. "What?! No!! It can't be!!" said Zuma as the pups began to cry. Skye was definitely the most upset, it hurt to cry, but she couldn't help it.

Chase and Marshall were the only two pups in the Paw Patrol when she was found by Ryder. She knew them the most and loved them both, especially Chase. She had a crush on the German Shepherd pup ever since she joined the Paw Patrol. Marshall was like a brother to her, but Chase was more. She's devastated because she never got to tell Chase she loves him.

"NO!!" said Skye as she began to bawl her tears out. Rubble and Zuma ran to her and comforted her. "When Macavich gets here, we must find out the truth." said Pvt. Brian.
