Light purring snores escaped the sleeping lips of Chītā Nekozawa, a young female Exwire that's training to specialize in being a Tamer Meister. Although not a Demon Eater, someone who absorbs the abilities of demons by, what the name indicates "eating" the demon, she has fused together with her Cat Sídhe Demon familiar, Panda. No one knows how this is, but some say it was because of a special bloodline that runs in her family.

As the class at the Cram School continued to move on slowly Chītā's Cat Sídhe tail started to sway back and forth, lightly tapping a fellow classmate gently on the shoulder, Konekomaru Miwa. When Chītā first asked Koneko if she could sit by him on her first day of Cram School he didn't know what to think, but now, the two have grown close. Something some believed was a little socking.

"Chītā.... Chītā. This little guy is for you. You need to take care of him like everyone in the Nekozawa family does. It's on us to look after a Cat Sídhe familiar. Do you understand Chītā?"

"Yes mother, I understand what I have to do, but may I ask a question mother?"

"Only one."

"When the ritual is done, and Panda and I are one, what will happen to me? Will I live a normal life like everyone else?"

Chītā looked up at her mother with her big blue eyes as her mother looked down at her with her red ones. Once the ritual is done Chītā's eyes will look like her mothers.

"Just like the Cat Sídhe's life span is long, so will yours. you will out live most of the people you'll meet. That's how it is for the Nekozawa family when we merge with our assigned Cat Sídhe familiar."

That's what she was told a year before she went through the merging ritual with Panda, Chītā's Cat Sídhe familiar. Slowly she opened her eyes and looked around the room at the small class of students. If what her mother said was true, then she would out live every single one of these people. While they will grow old and die, she would continue to live on and age slowly with Panda.

"I'll out live all these people, even Rin Okumura, the child of Satan. He ages properly, like a normal human despite being half-demon." Chītā then turned her head so she was looking at Koneko who was fidgeting from her hitting him with her tail. A small smile cracked on her face as she moved her tail along the back of Koneko's neck, making slightly tens up.

"Nekozawa..." Koneko whispered to a fake sleeping Chītā. She dropped her tail to hide it from everyone else around them. Giving people the image that he was worrying over nothing.

Chītā then snuck her tail up Koneko's back and started tickling him behind the ear. Koneko's face started turning a beat red and his body started to shack. He tried swotting Chītā's tail away, but each time he did she would only bring it back to tickling him more. When he thought he couldn't take Chītā's teasing class was suddenly called to an end.

'"Nekozawa! Please don't do that while class is going on, it's really distracting!"

"But it's so much fun Koneko. You get so flustered by it." Chītā moved her tail once again along the back of his head to teas hi some more.

"Now, now let's have none of that Chītā. But you will be joining us later tonight right won't you?" Tsubaki Yoshino asked.

"Tonight? What's tonight?"Chītā moved her tail away from Koneko and tucked it into her Cross Academy Uniform.

"Today is this guy's birthday. We're planning on throwing a little party for him. Rin is going to make a cake and everything!" Tsubaki Yoshino wrapped her arm around Koneko's shoulders and pocked him gently on the cheek.

Chītā hadn't been going to school at True Cross Academy long so she didn't know much about her classmates. Chītā couldn't help but feel a little bad about not knowing it was Koneko's birthday. Walking out of class Chītā suddenly pulled Tsubaki aside to have a quick word with her.

"You really didn't know today was Koneko's birthday Chītā?"

"Yes, and I feel horrible about it. I'm always teasing him and whatnot so hearing that today is his birthday makes me feel even worse! I didn't get him anything! What do I do Tsubaki?!"

Tsubaki looked at the panicking girl in front of her. Little by little she started to understand that Chītā really likes Koneko, and since Chītā has a childish Cat Sídhe side, do to Panda, Tsubaki came up with an idea of what Chītā could do.

"Chītā, I might have idea for you. Listen carefully..."

Later that night, everyone was getting together. There was laughing and the enjoying of everyone's company. No one really noticed that there was someone missing, that is, until Koneko noticed since there was no one teasing him with their cat tail.

"Has anyone seen Nekozawa?"

Everyone looked around to see that she was nowhere to be found.

"It's alright. She said she had something to do before heading over here. She said she'd text me to let me know when she'd be on her way. She shouldn't be taking much longer, so I would really worry about her." Tsubaki simply smiled as she explained why Chītā wasn't there at the party.

Everyone went back to what they were doing, but Koneko couldn't knowing that Chītā wasn't there to enjoy it with them. He then asked Tsubaki where Chītā was, so he could go meet with her himself to see if she needed help with whatever it was she was doing. With an even bigger smile she told Koneko where Chītā might be now. Koneko then ran out on his own party to look for the one who always teases him whenever she could, but without her there teasing him it felt a bit strange.

Koneko finally made to the place Tsubaki had told him where Chītā would be. It was dark, and you would think that someone would sneak up on you and scare the life out of you if they wanted to. One by one he started to check the rooms to find Chītā until he finally found the right one. She was standing in front of the open window. The wind blew through her long blue hair and cat ears that sat on top of her head, her tail was also swaying pack and forth.

"Nekozawa, wh-what are you doing? You're missing the party."

"Koneko, I'm sorry." Chītā sudden apologize startled Kneko.

"Sorry? Sorry for what?"

"I didn't realize today was your birthday. I have nothing to give you, so I asked Tsubaki for help. She said you really like cats, so we came up with an idea, something that only I can give you."Chītā turned around with her now golden eyes shining bright with cat pupils looking back at him. "If I was to turn into my Cat Sídhe form would that make you happy?" Small tears were starting to build up in Chītā's eyes.

"Make me happy?"

"Tsubaki said the one thing I could do for you was not to tease you anymore. So, if I was in my Cat Sídhe form and stayed that way from now on, would that make you happy?" The tears then started to fall from Chītā's eyes. Each tear staining her face. Koneko suddenly rushed over and wrapped Chītā's in a tight hug.

"Koneko?"

"Don't be silly Chītā. I like you this way. I never thought I would meet a girl with cat eras and a tail, but could you lay off on the teasing just a little bit?"

With a smile Chītā agreed with Koneko that she would lay off on the teasing for a while. Koneko wiped the tears from Chītā's yellow eyes, as she did Chītā quickly snuck a kiss from Koneko. A bright blush washed over Koneko's face.

"Thank you for liking me the way I am Koneko, and happy birthday."
