Chase woke up and headed to the clinic and busted through the door. "Pups? Skye, Marshall, Everest? Anyone?!" said Chase. He heard screams and ran to the room and saw Rocky and them torturing Marshall, Everest, and Skye. Rocky had his paw over Skye's mouth and Chase got even more angry. Skye tried to say something but couldn't because of Rocky. Chase ran after Rocky but Rubble came from behind again and put him in a sleeper hold again. Skye bit Rocky's paw and Rocky yelped and let go but Tundra held her back this time. Rubble squeezed harder but Chase was pulling Rubble's paw off him and said "NOT THIS TIME RUBBLE!!" And he elbowed his stomach and Rubble let go while coughing. Rocky and the other pups were shocked, "That's my Chase!" said Skye. Chase tackled Rocky and bit his paw, then went for Zuma and head butted him, but Chase felt woozy after this.

    "All right Rosie, let's take care of Chase ourselves!" said Tundra. "With pleasure Tundra!" said Rosie. They circled around Chase but Everest and Skye leaped on them and were biting and scratching them.

     Chase went after Rubble but Rubble dodged Chase and kicked the back of his head and Chase went down. "Hey Rubble, lets finally do this, I've waited a long time to kick your ass!" said Marshall as he limped to Rubble, but Rubble impaled Marshall with his claws and Everest saw this and ran right to him. "Rubble, you bastard!" said Everest.

     "What are you going to do about it Everest?!" said Rubble. "Hey asshole! Turn around!" said Chase. "What, I can take you!" said Rubble. "You hurt my friend, and now you're going to get what's coming to you!" said Chase. "Nope, not this time, I'm outta here!" said Rubble as he hopped out the window. "Coward!" said Chase.

     Marshall was gasping for air, but then he faded out, he wasn't dead, but he was unconscious. Everest was crying but Chase said "He's not dead, he'll be ok!" said Chase. Skye nuzzled on Chase and Everest stayed there by Marshall. "The clinic isn't safe anymore, come on we're going to your home Everest, Jake's Mountain!" said Chase.
