The next day, Zuma woke up with wires all over his legs and body. He felt so dizzy, like the floor was spinning.

"Where am I?" Zuma thought. He looked at the wires and and how everything was white and it all clicked together. "Oooh... I'm at the hospital." This was strange to him, because he thought that only people went to hospitals, not animals. He's heard of animal hospitals before, but has never seen one in real life because where he came from, there was no such thing. He turned to his right and saw glass separating him from Charm.

"Chawm!" Zuma gasped. She also had wires all over her legs too. Zuma let out a sigh of relief because he could see she was still breathing. He was still a little dizzy from the explosion that happened earlier, but he yanked the wires out of his legs anyways and charged right through the glass. The glass cut his face, but he didn't even feel it.

When he got to Charm, he hugged her and kissed her softly on the mouth. Charm woke up and smiled at Zuma.

"Hey Zuma," Charm yawned. She saw the blood on Zuma's face and flinched. "Um, Zuma, are you okay?"

"Yeah Chawm," he said. His face looked pale and his eyes seemed to be unfocused. "We need to leave befowe the doctows come back because then, who knows when we'll get to leave."

"Alright, let's go," Charm said while pulling out the wires in her legs. She still watched Zuma suspiciously as he walked clumsily next to her. They walked toward a window to see if they can climb out, but it was locked. Without thinking, Zuma ran headfirst at the window and broke right through it. His face was then covered in even more blood than before. They both jumped out of the window and into the tree next to it as soon as they heard the doctors walk in.

"Well, looks like there are too many animals in this animal hospital and nobody has picked these ones up yet. We're going to have to put these two pups to sleep," they heard the doctor say to the other doctor. Suddenly, their footsteps stopped. "Where'd the pups go?"

As soon as Zuma and Charm heard this, they laughed quietly and jumped out of the tree and hid in a bush, where Zuma fell unconscious immediately.
