They went into the elevator and pushed the button. When it got to the top, they heard the ding and stepped out. 

"Hello, Ryder sir," said Chase greeting him. He then turned toward Zuma and Charm. "Who are you?"

"I'm Charm."

"And I'm Zuma"

"Nice to meet you Charm and Zuma. I'm Chase the police pup. That's Marshall over there."

"Hi, I'm the fire fighter pup" said the  dalmation walking over to them and then tripping. 

"And that's Skye," Chase said blushing a bright red. 

"Hello! I'm the flying pup," said Skye as she did a flip in the air. 

"And over there is Rocky," said Chase motioning toward Rocky. 

"Hello. I'm the recycling pup,"  he said. "I see you guys already have collars. Do you already have owners?" He said with a sad face. 

Ryder smiled at the pups and then announced, "I would like to announce that Zuma and Charm will be our newest pups in the PAW Patrol! Zuma will be our water rescue pup and Charm will be our medical pup!"

Zuma and Charm's eyes then lit up. They turned toward each other and hugged. "Thank you Ryder!" They exclaimed running toward him giving him a hug too. The pups cheered as Ryder hugged them back with Skye doing a flip, Marshall attempting to do one but falling, and Rocky and Chase barking happily. 

Ryder then said, "But wait. There's a SURPRISE waiting for you at the bottom of the slide!" 

The pups looked at to where Ryder was pointing and ran toward the slide. "Dudettes first," Zuma said winking at Charm. Charm smiled and got on top of the slide and hugged her legs to herself. As soon as she slid down, she slipped and ended up going headfirst. All the pups gasped, but Zuma began to laugh hysterically. At the bottom of the slide, a pink and white truck that looked like an ambulance waited for her. As soon as she hopped inside of it, its wheels popped out and so did its windshield. She saw a siren button and pushed it. The loud sound rang in her ears and smiled. THIS has been my DREAM! To be a doctor. All these years... and now I have what I've been dreaming.  Charm's eyes filled with tears of happiness. She blinked them away when she saw everybody coming toward her to meet her. Zuma was still at the top of the slide waiting for her to move so he can go down. 

"So. Did you like it?" Asked Skye.

"LIKE it?! I LOVE it!" Charm said. 

"Now, can you drive your vehicle over here so Zuma can come down and get his?" Ryder asked.

"Sure thing Ryder!"

At first Charm was a little confused about how to control her truck, but figured it out after going around in circles a few times. Finally, when she was parked, the thing holding the trucks rotated and Zuma's vehicle appeared at the bottom of the slide. It was orange and silver. Charm looked down at her collar and laughed because Charm got the collar that was orange and blue matching Zuma's vehicle and Zuma got the collar that was white and gold matching Charm's vehicle. 

Suddenly, she saw Zuma sliding down the slide barking and holding his legs up. Awww... he looks so cute! She then noticed that he still had a few orange bandaids on his face and the bandage around his front paw. She smiled at him and couldn't stop staring at him. 

He landed in his vehicle and it transformed into a hovercraft with wheels at the bottom. This is so cool! Zuma thought. 

"Hope you pups like your vehicles because those vehicles are yours!" Ryder said. 

"Thank you Ryder," Charm said. 

"Thank you so much Whyder," Zuma said. 

"Whyder?" Marshall asked. "It's RYDER."

"Yeah, I know. It's a speech impediment," Zuma said trying to play it cool in front of the pups even though he was super embarrassed. He looked over at Charm for support. Charm gave a worried look to Zuma fearing Marshall might ask how he got it.

"Hmmm.... why do you have a cast on your paw and bandaids on your face and you a hole in your ear?" Marshall asked.

Ryder saw the worry in the pups' eyes and saw that they didn't feel like talking to the pups about their life. Ryder knew it was best to shut Marshall up.

"How about you pups practice driving your vehicles around in the driveway while we go inside to watch Apollo? Okay?"

"Yeah!" All the pups said excitedly making Marshall completely forget about everything he was just asking. They all went inside while Zuma and Charm stayed outside. They sighed with relief. 

"That was close," Charm said. 

"Things were about to get REALLY awkward," Zuma said.

They jumped into their cars and drove. They drove around on the driveway. Then it started raining and the road got slippery with rain. Their vehicles slid around while they were driving to their parking spots.

Suddenly, their vehicles collided. They both hit each other head-on.  The two pups weren't wearing seatbelts, so they ended up flying right out of their trucks, their heads banging into each other. 

"Ow," Charm moaned. 

"Ugh..." Zuma added. Then they began to laugh. It ended up leaving a tiny dent in the front of their vehicles, but they didn't worry about it. They've delt with so many things in their lives, that a tiny dent in their vehicles meant nothing to them. They finished parking their vehicles. 

Ryder sent the pups to call Zuma and Charm inside because it was raining. When the pups went were about to call for them to come inside, they saw Zuma and Charm dancing in the rain. "Aww..." Skye said dreamily. They watched Zuma and Charm getting soaked in the rain, but it seemed like they didn't even notice. They rubbed noses with each other and closed their eyes. They leaned in closer and closer until their lips touched and they kissed. Charm put her paw up to Zuma's head and pulled him closer to her. Zuma pushed his face into hers while they kissed a long, soft, beautiful kiss with rain pouring all around them.

Chase's heart felt like it melted as he watched. He couldn't help but feel a little jealous about them in love. He wished he could do that to a special pup he had in mind. He sighed. 

When Zuma and Charm pulled away from each other, the pups called them inside. They hugged and then walked inside greeting the other pups. 

More soon. Hopefully tomorrow. It's just I have dumb school. I hate it, and my new little brother and dumb neighbors have been keeping me up at night. Gaaah. I'm so tired.
