Charm woke up at about 2 in the afternoon. She glanced at Zuma who was still sleeping. Charm let out a loud yawn in which Rocky heard and he quickly ran over to her. "It's about time you woke up! Chase tried to wake you guys up at 7 this morning for morning yoga, but you pups were dead asleep!"

Charm smiled. "Well excuse me, but we were tired!"

Rocky took a second to roll his eyes up to the sky at Charm's sassiness and then walked off telling the other pups Charm was awake. When Charm was left alone with Zuma, she watched Zuma sleeping peacefully and let out a soft sigh. Aww... he's so adorable. Charm then leaned in close to Zuma's ear and screamed, "WAKE UP ZUMA!"

Zuma shot up into the leaves of the tree and back down landing on top of Charm. "Oh my gosh Chawm! You've GOT to quit doing that!" He then started to laugh because he was on top of Charm. She smiled at Zuma and then walked toward the pups with Zuma, whose tail was wagging crazily, on her back. 

"Hey guys," Charm said. They looked up and saw Zuma on top of Charm. They thought it was cute.

"Hey Zuma, hey Charm." "Hey guys." "It's about time you guys woke up!" "Good afternoon."

Zuma then noticed Marshall wasn't there. "Whewe's Mawshall?" He said as he got off of Charm. 

"I think he's watching some Apollo the Super Pup in the Lookout," Rubble replied. 

"Oh okay. Hey, we need to eat bweakfast," Zuma said. 

"Actually, lunch." Charm corrected. "Whatevew," Zuma said.

When they got their pup food, they ate outside in front of the Lookout next to the slide. As they enjoyed their food, they heard Marshall from the inside of the Lookout laughing to himself.

Marshall was inside the Lookout not to watch Apollo, but to sneak some snacks. He tried to figure out how to use the snack machine filled with dog treats so he can enjoy some, but wasn't getting very far. He tried pushing or pulling different things so the door of the machine can just open, but it wouldn't work.

Then he saw little arrows going side to side above a knob and laughed at himself because he realized he was supposed to turn the knob to open it. "Oh, wow," he said smacking himself on the forehead.

When he turned the knob, the door of the machine flew open causing the surprised Marshall to fly across the room to the top of the slide. He tried to not trip, but lost his balance and ended up falling full-speed down the slide.

"Aah!" He yelped causing Zuma and Charm who were on the side of the slide to look up. Marshall couldn't stop sliding down the slide because he was going too fast. 

Suddenly, Marshall accidentally slid over his feet causing him to trip off the side of the slide and into the air. Zuma and Charm tried to run away, but Marshall landed right on top of Zuma at full force causing Zuma and Marshall to roll down the hill together. When they finally hit the ground at the bottom, a cracking sound was heard. 

Marshall gasped. "Zuma! Are you okay?"

When Marshall saw tears in Zuma's eyes, he began to panic. He howled for the others. All the pups including Ryder ran down the hill to see what happened. Zuma covered his face with his paws.

When they saw Zuma, they knew something was wrong with him. 

"Zuma, it's okay, it's okay. I'm just going to lift you up slowly so you can get looked at, okay?" Ryder said gently rubbing Zuma's back. 

"Okay," Zuma said softly. When Ryder tried lifting Zuma up, Zuma whimpered quietly, but didn't scream. Ryder rested Zuma's head on his shoulder as Ryder carried Zuma back to the Lookout into his bedroom. He put Zuma on his bed and called Charm in too. 

When Charm came in, she went right to work on Zuma. Charm used the x-ray and found Zuma had a broken neck. She put a brace on his neck and ordered him to stay in bed for a month. 

"Wow Charm. I'm impressed," Ryder said after seeing all the things she just did. 

"Thank you," Charm replied trying to be modest. "Are you okay Zuma?"

"Yeah, I feel a lot better than before. It stinks I have to stay in bed for a month though," he said. 

"Well, doctor's orders!" Charm said giving a grin to Zuma who had red bloodshot eyes because he just finished whimpering. 

"Ha ha," Zuma replied. 

"We should probably let Zuma rest, Charm, alright?" Ryder said. 

"Okay," Charm said as Ryder went ahead and walked out. "I love you Zuma," she said. 

"I LOVE YOU Chawm!" Zuma said. They leaned in and kissed for about ten seconds, and then Charm left the room.
