"Charm! Rocky!" Chase panted running towards them. They looked up at him and their eyes lit up. "Chase!" They exclaimed. "We've been looking EVERYWHERE for the other pups but-" Charm suddenly stopped mid-sentence and frowned when she saw Zuma who was bleeding nonstop on Chase's back. "Wha- what happened?" Charm asked worried.

"Zuma- he's hurt. We got attacked by a bobcat a good distance away from here," Chase explained shaking. "Charm, you're the medical pup. Can you help him?"

"I'll do my best." Charm stared at Zuma. He was awake and staring at her with his green eyes. She suddenly felt like a heavy bag of bricks fell on and crushed her body. She felt her heart pounding as tears filled her eyes, but she blinked them away immediately.

Blood kept bubbling out of Zuma's mouth. He took short quick breaths as if he was having an anxiety attack. Blood wouldn't stop coming out of the holes in his neck left behind by the bobcat's teeth. Zuma began gasping for air. He coughed and spit out blood.

"Help... me. Please help me." He choked. His green eyes suddenly faded and lost their color completely. His now gray eyes suddenly widened as he got dizzy and fell unconscious.

Charm walked up to Zuma and patted his head softly with her paw. Suddenly, she turned away and threw up red blood. "Oh my gosh, what just happened?" She said confused.

"Charm, are you okay? Can you fix Zuma?" Charm heard Rocky's voice say. She began to feel dizzy as black smudges filled the corners of her vision. "Charm? CHARM?!" Charm heard Rocky's voice say as it faded away.

"Huh..." She said before collapsing to the ground. "Charm! What wrong?" "Can you hear me?" "Charm get up!" "What happened?" She saw Chase and Rocky lean over her with worried looks on their faces.

Slowly, everything faded to blackness and silence.
