This episodes debuts when Skye is on her way to Jake's Mountain to meet up with Everest and Ace when a storm blows in and she crash lands in the snow. Her pup tag gets lost and a wing is broken, so Ace calls the Paw Patrol to go find her and save her.

Trivia
- This is the fourth episode involving a member getting saved by their own team: the first being Pups Save a Super Pup (Rubble), the second being Pups Save Ryder (Ryder), and the third being Pups Save a Friend (Marshall).

- The premiere of this episode along with Pups Save a Pizza was simulcasted on both Nick Jr. and Nickelodeon.

- Ace Sorensen appears in the first time since her debut in Pups Save an Ace.

- On the title card, Chase, who is seen wearing his spy gear, doesn't have his front paw boots on.

- This is the first time Everest is seen in back-to-back episodes.

- After Marshall bumps into a pile of snow, the x-ray shows stars flying over his head, which technically is an error.

- Skye is the first member of the PAW Patrol to be seen without her pup-tag (after joining, of course. She looks so kawaii tho \ (•◡•) /)

- Rocky, Zuma and Rubble were absent at the end.

- A sound clip of Skye saying Yay from season 1 is reused in this episode. I guess those words were just a bit over Kallan Holley's paycheck.

Tho(ugh)ts
First of all, I really enjoy episodes where a member is in need of rescuing, so this episode naturally caught my attention. But after watching, there was no parts I particularly enjoyed. Having it being a winter episode is a plus, but I feel like Ace Sorensen removed all the excitement from the episode. She ruined it all. SaVING SKYE SHOULD BE A CHALLENGE!! oh but it looks like Ace is in town so she'll just fly over the forest and find her and everyone is happy- NO!!! NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONNO NO N O N O N ON O NONONONONONONONONONONONO ONONONONONONNONOONONONONOdieaceNONONONONONONONO THIS IS UNACceptable!!

I was hoping this episode would be much more exciting. If I were a writer in this episode, I would wipe out Ace entirely, add a snowstorm to the plot, and have Chase go in on a one-on-one rescue to find Skye. And maybe add a bit more character development into the mix. But yeah.

Overall, I found this episode VEry repetitive and not too interesting. But I can't wish for everything now, can I? The target audience is primarily people half my age and not everyone has the same preferences.
