Chase woke up and Ryder and the pups were happy to know that he will be okay. "Glad to see that you're awake Chase." said Rocky. "Yeah. But what about Marshall?" said Chase. Ryder and the pups stayed silent, except for Skye. "Chase, Marshall didn't make it. He's too hurt." said Skye as Chase processed what was just said. He then looked to his right and saw Marshall laying in a hospital bed.

He then started to cry, even though Marshall betrayed him, he was still family to him. A few days later, Chase was checked out of the hospital and Ryder and the pups buried Marshall. Chase sat by his grave and put Marshall's pup tag by the grave. "Goodbye..friend." said Chase as he, Ryder and the pups walked away.
