A/N: Hi pups! Just wanted to say I'm not doing very many P.O.V's anymore, but they will still be around here and there! I love y'all! PawPatrol02 is on a roll! <3

No P.O.V

The small ally was dark and cold. A young and curious pup shivered in a corner. His ears stood tall and flicked back and forth when he heard footsteps. His eyes quickly darted open, the silver lines almost glowing. He backed against the black wall. Closing his eyes, he drew in deep breathes focusing on the black wall. A flash of bright light surrounded him for a millisecond before disappearing and leaving behind a jet black pup.

The boy walking through the streets was alerted by a strange flash from the ally he had just passed. He walked back towards it and peered down the narrow strip. A light misty rain began to fall making it harder to see. Through the foggy mist, he saw two silver slits blink up at him.

"Hello? Is there a pup here?" The pup, sensing the friendliness in the boy's voice, stepped forward cautiously. 

"Hi there! I'm Ryder." The boy leaned down and stroked his fur. He let himself relax, his fur turning silver once more.

"Woah." The boy was obviously impressed.

"So who are you?" He asked again.

"I'm Silver," the pup said quietly.

"And you're Ryder? From the PAW Patrol?"

"So you've heard of us?" The pup wagged his tail eagerly.

"Why don't you come stay with us? You can meet everyone!"

"Really?"

"Of course!" Ryder picked up the shivering pup, rocking him in his arms, warming up his damp, cold fur. 

"Thanks, Ryder." Silver's golden eyes sparkled. As Ryder carried him home, he noticed the pup's eyes getting heavier, and heavier until they were finally shut.

"Sleep tight boy."

(With Charlotte and Chaning)

A certain playful German Shepherd Cockapoo mix looked up eagerly at her master.

"Who's that Ryder?"

"This is Silver. He doesn't have a home. Or he didn't. Would you take him in? I know your pups are still young.

"Of course!" Ryder set the sleek pup down. He quickly nestled close to her side next to the four other pups.

"Thanks, Charlotte."

"No problem, Ryder!" She laid her head back down next to her mate and dosed off. Though Apple and Olivia were still fast asleep, Jack and Kaylee were wide awake, eager to meet the mysterious new pup. Kaylee took a soft paw and carefully prodded it against his side.

"Huh?"

"Hi! I'm Kaylee. Who are you?"

"Hello. I'm Silver." He blinked graciously at the nice, and pretty, pup. She was brown and black like her mother, but with white spots, opposite of her father's black ones. Her eyes were the brightest of blues and they shimmered merrily.

"I'm Jack! Nice to meet you!" He was exactly like his sister, only with vibrant green eyes.

"Nice to meet you too!" 

"Kaylee, Jack, let Silver rest. He'll introduce himself in the morning." Charlotte smiled at him and gave him a lick between the ears. 

"Goodnight pups!"

"'night Mommy!" Kaylee yawned and curled up beside her brother, already fast asleep.

The Next Morning

After a very long introduction, Silver was now familiar with each and every pup. One in particular. Though she was never alone. He had a nagging feeling that the pup was or would end up with anybody but him. But he kept on trying, finding himself spending more and more time with her. She made his heart sore above the clouds, higher than any plane. He decided it was now time to share with her his secret.

"Hey!" He bounded over to the pup, sitting under the shade beside her.

"Hi, Silver! What's up?"

"I wanted to show you something!"

"What?" She said excitedly.

"Watch." Silver grinned. He backed against the tree. Taking deep breathes. First came the lightning fast flash, then the silver pup, now brown, matching the shade of the tree. 

"Woah! That was amazing!" The pup bounced up and down. The brown pup quickly let himself change back to silver.

"Do you want to go play at the park?"

"Yeah!" Silver's heart beat so fast he was afraid it would beat out of his chest.

"Bret! Xander! Apple! Olivia! Jack! Do you want to come with us to the park?

"Yeah!" The five quickly bounded over. Bret went straight for Kaylee. 

"Hi." He said shyly.

"Hey." Kaylee said, the smallest of blushes forming on her cheeks. Silver silently growled to himself. She was supposed to be mine. He though angrily. He then noticed he wasn't the only one upset.

"What's wrong, Jack?"

"Bret is like my best friend, but he's always hitting on my sister." Jack scowled.

"I'm sure there's nothing between the two." The silver pup said, hoping desperately that his words were true.

"We can only hope." Jack said. Silver trailed away and sighed to himself.

"I thought she finally liked me too."
