Rocky's P.O.V

I've gathered my thoughts and my courage and decided to go back home. I guess I just have to face the facts. At least I've got my other daughter. And I'll make sure of it that nothing happens to her.

Ryder's P.O.V

Princess and Tara come over to me. "Hi Princess! Hi Tara!" It's been two weeks since Tara and a very missed Paige were born. "What's up pup?" Tara smiles and laughs. "I don't really know, I just got a feeling." "Like what, Princess?" "I just have a feeling that Rocky's coming home, do you think he will?" She asks me with big eyes. "I'm sure he'll be home soon Princess, he loves you and Tara very much." She sighs with relief. "Thanks Ryder. I knew it was silly to doubt him." She and Tara start to walk away, but Princess stops. "He's here!" Princess runs down the driveway. "Rocky!" I hear her yell before she and Rocky walk up the driveway shoulder to shoulder. "Daddy!" Tara trots over to him. "I missed you Tara." "Me too." She says hugging him. "Where did you go?" She hasn't been told yet about Paige. "Well, I love you and your mom so much that I decided to go where she used to live and visit. We spent a lot of time there together." Rocky looks Princess in the eye. She understands. (A/N: That's part of the reason he left, mostly Paige though:) Tara nods and happily runs off to play. Rocky sighs. "When are we going to tell her?" "Do we have to?" Princess whines back. "She's smart! She's already talking and running and it's only been two weeks! How long before she notices that there's a reason she's an only pup?" "Some families only have one pup in a litter." "Very rarely though! I'm just saying, she's going to figure it out sooner or latter, whether we tell her or not." Now it's Princess's turn to sigh. I just stand and listen in. "That's true. She is really smart, but that doesn't mean she's mature enough to understand and deal with it properly. No offense, but even you couldn't handle it Rocky." "None taken, and I know. I should have faced it like you did. I should've put on my brave face." Rocky's head is down now. "It's not about that now Rocky." Princess scolds. He nods. "So what are we going to do?" "I don't know. I really don't know."
