Ryder's P.O.V

"What happened, Charlotte?" I bent down in front of her. She stared at me with big, worried eyes.

"Ryder, I have something to show you." Her voice was excited but her eyes said otherwise. She scrapped the ground with her paw twice. The code. She told me one word. Danger.

"Okay." I nodded and patted her head twice. I got it. She nodded and looked relieved. 

"Well then lets go." I said carefully. We walked down the hill, back in the direction she came from. Everyone was prepared for a fight the moment she said Humdinger's name to Chaning. As we continued, three pups flanked Charlotte, whispering back and forth. A few minutes later we reached a large, shiny metal building. 

"Everyone listen." Charlotte suddenly turned and sat. 

"Rocky, we need your help if any of us want to live."

"Oh. Okay." Rocky said, nervous.

"Humdinger has these robots. Can you hack them so that they turn on Humdinger?"

"Sure, but I need some information. Like-"

"Sonia's got that." A dark gray pup walked over to Rocky. They quickly began working on a small computer like tablet that Rocky carried.

"Everyone else," Charlotte turned her attention to the rest of us. 

"This is Misty, Shadow, and Sonia. They have special powers. Like Silver. Silver is actually their brother." She stated, sending gasps through the group.

"These three have been forced to work with Humdinger and two other trained, fighting dogs. Tonight they will stand with us to defeat him. Shadow and Misty will be fighting Chandelier and Azalea. Sonia will distract Humdinger long enough for Rocky to turn the robots."

"Charlotte-"

"Yes?" I was the one who spoke.

"What about the code? I thought Humdinger was listening." 

"He was-" She then pointed at three white little devices.

"-But we got the bugs out." I nodded.

"Everyone else, be prepared for a fight. Chase and Rubble, go with Misty against Azalea. Skye and Zuma, go with Shadow against Chandelier. And Marshall, you and Chaning will come with me and Sonia to distract Humdinger. Ryder, I need my pups back home with the others. We'll wait until you get back to attack."

"Okay."

"Mama?" Jack asked quietly.

"Everything's okay, sweetie. Protect your sisters, okay?"

"Okay!" Jack said standing taller. For once Kaylee didn't argue with her brother. 

"Come on." I guided the four pups back to the lookout. Silver waited eagerly. He wanted to come to but I asked him to stay." 

"Is everyone okay?" He asked.

"Everyone's okay." I assured him.

"Where are they?"

"Well," I was in a tough situation. I didn't want to tell him everything yet.

"They'll be back soon, but I have to go help them with something first."

"Okay. Can I come?"

"I actually need you to stay here with the others, but I promise you can see everyone soon."

"Okay, Ryder."

"Thanks, buddy." I turned and raced off.

Charlotte's P.O.V

Everyone sat close together, discussing plans and ways to defeat Humdinger once and for all. A few moments later, Ryder raced over the hill towards  us.

"Ready?" Chaning whispered to me.

"Always." I said.

"I love you."

"Love you more." I smiled at him. I stood when Ryder arrived.

"Alright everyone! It's time."
