Chapter three

Jozy sighed again as she walked towards U.A. high school. Today is the first day of classes. She felt nervous, she was Never really used to meeting new people.

She made sure the skirt she wore was the appoint length and the stockings as high as they can go, covering the scars among her thighs and lower leg. Jozy doubled checked that the new shoes she bought stayed tied and the book bag sat comfortably on her back.

Nibbling on her bottom lip, trying her best to shake off her nervousness. 'I wonder if Izuku passed' she thought, walking onto campus.

'I believe Katsuki passed......he kinda reminds me of Natsu......no more like Gajeel.......or both of them mixed together, like a love child' she giggled at her own silly thoughts, unable to stop thinking of her ex-guild mates.

She was knocked out of her thoughts by a loud commotion from ahead of her. Jozy looked upwards instead of staring at the ground. Izuku and Ochaco stood in front of the doorway chatting excitedly, well Izuku covered his face as he blushed.

Jozy smiled slightly and gave them both a quiet hello. They both looked over to her as well as the blue-haired glasses boy named Iida Tenya.

"JOZY! You're a girl!" Izuku yelled, eyes wide open in shock. Jozy stared at Izuku, blinking confusedly. Izukus face became even more red with the surprising news. Before Jozy could comment, a gruff and tired voice spoke from behind them

"Go somewhere else if you want to play making friends"

They jumped slightly, turning around and looking down at a man in a yellow sleeping bag. He continued to speak.

"This is the hero course" he pulled out a squeezable yogurt, standing up and stepping out of the sleeping bag. "It took you 8 seconds to quiet down. You kids are not rational enough"

The man walked inside the classroom, looking over the rest of the students.

"I'm Shota Aizawa, I'll be your homeroom teacher. Nice to meet you" he said.

'Homeroom?' Jozy thought, not really familiar with teachers and schooling in general. Aizawa reached into his sleeping bag, pulling out a blue outfit.

"It's kinda sudden, but put this on and go out to the felid," he said, lifting the outfit up. Everyone did as told, standing out in the field with the gym outfit on.
They were all informed that they would all participate in a quirk assignment test.

Urakaka was the first to speak up.

"What about the entrance ceremony and the orientation?" she questioned. Jozy stood beside her, wonder about the same thing.

'It sounds like it could give me information on how this whole school thing works' she thought, looking at Aizawa with questioning eyes.

"if you're going to be a hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events. U.A.'s selling point is how unrestricted it's school traditions are," he spoke. Turning around to face the class, he continued. "That's also how teachers run their classes"

He proceeded to explain why they would be doing the quirk assessment test, calling Bakugou up first to throw a ball. Jozy watched with shock as the blond processed to throw the ball, screaming DIE as he did.

Aizawa lifted a gadget showing exactly how far the ball went. 705.2 m.

'amazing' Jozy thought, watching the blond with curiosity. 'He acts more like Gajeel' she smiled.

"It looks fun, huh?" Aizawa voice forced her to pay attention to him as he started speaking. Unaware of what he classmates said prior.

"You have three years to become heroes. Will you have that attitude the whole time?" He questioned. He smirked, staring everyone down. "All right, whoever comes in last for all 8 test, showing to have no potential to become a hero, will be expelled"

Jozy tilted her head to the side a bit, confused as to what that meant. She guessed it was something bad due to her classmate's reaction. Especially Izuku. She smiled slightly, deciding what to do little work in the test to make sure Izuku doesn't become last. Or any of the others.

Uraraka questioned Aizawa, stating that it was unfair. Aizawa answered while explaining why. Ending his short speech with a single sentence that stuck out to her.

"Go beyond. Plus ultra"

Something about the words just stuck out to her. It made her feel, as though she could actually become a hero. Jozy smiled brightly, eyes sparkling with happiness.

'This is it' she thought, clenching her hands into a fist, holding them up to her beating heart. 'This is where I belong!'

The first test they did was the 50-meter dash.

Jozy watched with fascination as everyone used their quirk to their ability if able to. She took a minute to figure out if her so-called quirk could help her.

She raced against her self. Since there was an odd number of students. Jozy decided not to use her quirk just yet, seeing as though she is already quite fast. She finished in 7.04 seconds.

'Two seconds behind Izuku' she thought, glancing over to the nervous boy.

Next was the grip test.

She got 43.7 kg.

Next, standing long jump.

She barely made it to the machine. 'A little father than izuku' she thought.

Then, repeated side steps.

'Amazing' Jozy thought, watching the only midget of the class bounce between two makeshift balls wth his ball hair. She didn't really try on this one.

Then, the ball throw.

'Infinity' Jozy thought once Aizawa lifted the gadget after Uraraka's throw. Next up was izuku. She watched confused as he stared down at the ball intensely. Finally, he prepared to throw the ball, only for it to fall not that far away.

Aizawa's hair started to float as well as the scarf around his neck. He walked close to izuku, speaking to him with a harsh tone. No one else was able to hear, but Jozy could with her advance hearing.

"Izuku Midoriya, with your power you can't be a hero"

Jozy watched as Aizawa returned to normal, dropping some liquid into his eyes as he continued to speak to izuku. He walked back to his original spot, allowing izuku to throw the ball again.

'Why can't he be a hero?' Jozy thought, looking at Aizawa with questioning eyes. 'I thought anyone could be a hero. They let in Bakugou'

Jozy focuses her attention back on izuku right as he threw the ball. Just a bit father than Bakugou's. Jozy smiled at the determination in His eyes.

The rest of the class said their astonishment with izuku's throw. Especially bakugou, who angrily stormed over towards izuku. Jozy was about to jump in but the boy was stopped by Aizawa scarf.

He released him after a moment, telling whoever's next to get ready. Which was Jozy. She threw it a measly 106.7 m.

Next, sit-ups, Seated toe-touch, and long-distance run. All of which she did fairly good on, just a little bit behind Izuku on everything.

Finally. Aizawa showed the scores. Even though Jozy was dead last, she smiled.

"Why do you look happy?! You're going to be expelled" izuku asked her in disbelief. Tears of relief in his eyes.

"By the way, I was lying about the expulsion," Aizawa said, answering izuku's question to Jozy. She grinned at izuku, holding up a peace sign.

"Gee hee" was her only response as everyone else yelled what to the surprisingly shocking news.
