Imagine #63: I Love The Way You Hate Me (Part 10)

Y/N's P.O.V.

"What on earth happened in here?!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs not being afraid if someone else will hear me.

Vacation just ended and it's school time again and the moment I saw the gymnasium, I wanted to knock someone out. It was a freaking mess like a natural disaster just hit this place with no mercy. I know that some teams used this gym over the course of summer for practice and competitions, but I didn't expect them to wreck the place so bad.

"Pres, w-we tried to control them, but they won't listen to us." My vice president said in here because I was already turning on my demon president mood.

I slowly picked up brooms and threw it at the boys.

"Nobody leaves this place until everything is shiny clean...whoever tries to escape, you will get a piece of me." I glared at them and all of them scrambled and started cleaning the place.

Yep, I'm like this and I'm used to eat, these people in here needs the discipline I am giving them but of course, I wasn't pushing them to their limits too.

"Come on guys! Cleaning this is too much fun and after this let's get some lunch!" I suddenly heard someone said around the place...he was very enthusiastic and I can even see sunshine in his spot. He was happily cleaning in there and he's already making others laugh too.

"Who is he?" I asked.

"He's a transferee, a happy-go-lucky guy indeed. He says he's on the mission to find his childhood friend in here. His name is Brendon." One of the students answered me and I just stared at him.

"Well, the new guy's already getting a lot popular than I am." I suddenly heard Patrick's voice and I immediately looked at him with no emotion.

"Why the heck are you not cleaning, Stump?!" I told him and he just grinned at me.

"I didn't make any mess in here, pres. Remember, I was with you the whole summer." He said with a smirk and I blushed after that.

"Will you hush? If you're not going to help cleaning, just go out and –

"Hi! Are you the student council president here? Finally, I'm so glad to meet you!" suddenly, the new student came and greeted me like that like I'm a celebrity or something.

"H-hi, yeah. Welcome to this school and I hope no one's been bothering you around." I just became hospitable to him. Patrick was still beside me, observing the new student.

"No! People in here are the nicest and I think it's because of your leadership!" he said happily and you just giggled. "I'm Brendon, by the way." He said, lending out a hand. I was about to shake hands with him when suddenly the gym doors opened.

"Pres, we have a meeting right now. Organization leaders are now searching for you." One of my student council members called me and I just nodded at him.

"I'll just go for a while, okay? Just enjoy your stay here and I guess I'll see you around." I told him and Brendon was suddenly just staring at me...curiously.

I ran outside of the gym to catch up with the meeting while thinking about that new guy, he seemed too familiar to me too. His reason of being here is a bit cute too, I wish he would really find whoever she is.

*Few days later*

"Brendon, what are you doing up there?" I suddenly heard from afar. I was just walking along the hallway when I spotted a bunch of people in the garden, looking up to Brendon who's on top of the tree.

I hurried in there to know what was going on. I think someone might have pushed him to do this. Since the day that I met him, Brendon was just a jolly person and he can sing so well too. He likes to eat a lot of foods and he's just a happy guy. It was hard not to like him too.

"Well, I've been in here for days and I still haven't found her yet." He started talking and some girls are already saying 'aaaww' in there. " I already told you guys that my mission here is to find my childhood friend and this...I mean, this same situation is where we first met, I was on top of a tree and she spotted me. I was so fat back then and the branch was breaking. She went running towards me to warn me and she just came the right time to save me – " Brendon started explaining and every memory just hit me.

It was him...my childhood friend. Brendon was the guy from my childhood and he came here...to search for me. I began to make my way to the front of the crowd while just looking at him and I did see him...the kid back there in the past. Brendon was a fat kid before and I really became close with him, always telling him to help others and always be positive and he did turn out to be like that after all.

Finally, I came in front of the crowd and that's when I realize that it was happening again...the branch he was standing on was slowly breaking.

"B-Beebo!" I called out the nickname you gave to him that time and he heard me.

Brendon looked at me in shock and with that the branch broke which made him fall to the ground. I ran towards him as he quickly regain his balance and standing in front of me.

"It's you...I-I knew it was you! Y/N!" he said excitedly and with that he hugged me...and I swear I don't know what to feel right now.

Patrick's P.O.V.

Out of all people, why does it have to be her?

She really was that new student's childhood friend, childhood love interest and I think it's still her until now.

Since the day that they found out that they were childhood friends, they've been talking a lot too that I've got a hard time going and making my way to talk to her. I really thought that Brendon was just a puny rival of mine when he first met Y/N, but this time...it's different, he's a serious rival of mine now.

We're currently having our three-day tour out of the city and since then I haven't really talked to Y/N. I honestly miss her so much and I couldn't really fight Brendon's bubbly and jolly personality. He was just courageous and just talks to her all the time, unlike me...I always take it in surprise because I knew that was how I get Y/N to like me. But I guess this is going too far now, I can't lose her now.

I just pushed myself to look for her tonight, I really need to talk with her now because I miss her so much. I just walked towards the girl's room and in shock, I found out that she wasn't there.

"She said she'll check the supply room a little while ago, she's with Brendon too." Jenna, one of our classmates, answered me and her answer just made me more anxious.

I decided to go to the supply room and in shock it was closed...I was about to go when I heard someone talking inside.

"Isn't this weird...I mean two person with the opposite genders locked inside a room." I heard Brendon's embarrassed voice inside that stopped me from moving. I suddenly heard Y/N's giggled too.

"What are you on about, Brendon? We just got locked in here, don't worry, someone will find us here and –

"Y/N...I-I, w-we're both grown-ups and maybe, maybe you still think of me as the kid back then...but please, now see me as a man...o-or maybe better see me as your man." I heard and my breathing got a lot heavier.

They were silent after that but after a couple of more seconds...I heard Y/N.

"Geez, Brendon...just what do you want me to do?" I heard her say in a very cute way that somehow broke my heart.

"Well, I want you to –

That's it, I had enough. We just one push of the door, I opened it. Y/N was sitting by the door and I just took her arm and carried her on my shoulder. She was taken by surprise and she didn't even move.

"You want her to see you as a man, right? Well...I'll look at you as a man, Brendon...and maybe, just maybe, as my rival too." I told him before going while Y/N was still on my shoulder.

I caught a glimpse of her blushing face while she stares at me...I know...I really know that she's having difficulties on telling her feelings right now.
