Imagine #43: Interview

You can feel your whole body shaking and you've hated the feeling of nervousness that's currently eating you right now.
 
You're about to interview your most favorite band of all time - Fall Out Boy and not only that, you had the chance to watch them live while they perform in Ellen. You're excited and nervous at the same time, this was your first time to see them.

"Let's give it up for Fall Out Boy!" Ellen said and the audience cheered, of course, you too. "This band is just amazing, almost more than ten years in the industry and still as good as ever." She continued and the guys faces are still so humble and they are chuckling with the statement.

You smiled as you clapped for them and the commercial came on. You were told to interview them right after their performance at their dressing room there. You immediately stood up and followed them in the backstage while your hands sweat like it has waterfalls in it.

"Where are you going, miss?" Suddenly a tall, buff man stopped you. You looked at him and smiled, you were about to speak but he cut you off. "Oh, you're that famous Alternative Press Interviewer, the boys are excited to meet you. Please, come inside."he said which really made you blush.

You're indeed one of the famous interview of the magazine. Maybe it's because of your humor and you're just good at your job.

You took a deep breath before going inside and the boys are already in there, sitting on this sofa, just talking to each other.

"And finally, we're able to meet Ms. Y/N." Joe said with a smile.

"H-hey guys, glad to meet all of you too!" You excitedly said. "I'm a huge fan of this band and gosh, I'm shaking so much right now." You honestly said that made them chuckle.

"Brendon was right, you're really cute." All of a sudden, Patrick said cutely that really made your heart skip a beat.

"Why, thank you, Mr. Stump " you said, acting like you were tipping a hat on him. "Now let's start before you guys can even make me explode here." You giggled.

Joe suddenly moved aside, giving you a space to sit on between him and Patrick. You became more nervous because Patrick's been your crush since you were a tween and now he's beside you. You pushed yourself to sit there and tried to remain calm.

Thankfully, the interview was one of the best you had. These guys were hilarious and your humor is perfect with them. You're all having fun and talking casually to each other like it's not even an interview.

"You guys are the best." You said while catching your breath because you've been laughing a lot. "Okay, now let's do a game called 'Will you press the button?'" You said and brought out a red button and placed it on top of the table. "The game is simple, I'll give a what if situation and you'll have to decide if you'll press the button or not." You explained and all of them nodded.

"What if you can fly...but you have to shit while doing so?" You gave the first situation and all of them immediately laughed.

"So what's the downside to that situation?" Joe asked seriously which made it all more funnier.

"So...who'll press the button?" You asked while wiping your happy tears.

Joe quickly pushed the button while the others are left laughing.

"That will be a very shitty situation." Andy said and you all agreed to him.

"Second situation...what if you can get any power you want but you only have to eat one kind of food for the rest of your life." You asked and you almost jumped because Pete quickly pushed the button.

"Hell yeah, the power to turn everything into pizza within one touch and I'll be able to only eat pizza for the rest of my life? That's like my dream!" Pete said and laugh filled the room again.

"That's just legit." you answered. "Okay, next one, I think this is for Andy. What if you can use the force, but every time you enter a room Darth Vader's theme will be played over and over again." you asked and the moment you stopped talking, Andy pushed the button.

"That will be very awesome, would definitely push that button." he said, looking like a fanboy in there. This guy really loves his star wars.

"Well, I would push it too!" you said with a smile. "For the last question and a serious one, what if you can give the solution to any kind of problem a person has...but after you fixed their problem, they will forget who you are completely?"  you asked and you all fell into silence.

"Wow, that's really hard." Pete said but after that, Patrick has pressed the button.

"I will. I mean, you'll have any solution to any problem and the catch isn't too much, you can always introduce yourself to them after fixing their problem." he explained so innocently and you found yourself smiling at him.

"You're a really kind person, Patrick, but yeah, I would have pressed the button too." you said honestly and he smiled brightly at you too.

Maybe the both of you had a lock-eye moment in there because the others have been falsely coughing their lungs out. You laughed while you look at them having the same smirk in their faces.

"Um, the interview is done now right? We'll just get some..uh...water, right guys? And Patrick, just stay here so Ms. Y/N wouldn't bore to death." Pete said suspiciously as he drag Andy and Joe out of the room.

You  and Patrick was left laughing inside the room.

"Sorry about that." he said.

"Its okay, you guys are really funny, this is one of the best interview I ever had." you told him honestly.

The two of you continued to talk casually and you're really right to what you have thought about him. He's a nice, funny and sweet guy and he's very fun to be with. Minutes have passed and you just realized that the others have not came back. 

"Um. Come on, let's just check them outside, maybe they're already in the car waiting for us." he said and before you could leave the room, he faced you again. "Um...maybe you have some free time, care to join me for dinner outside?" you shyly asked that made you really smile.

"Why not, Patrick? I would love that." you answered and his face lit up when he heard your answer.

Before the two of you could make it outside the room, you heard the others playfully arguing about something which just made you and Patrick laugh.

"See, I won Joe. We didn't even need to lock them inside to push Patrick to ask her out." Andy said with his proud voice.

"Goddammit, you two are right." Joe said with a disappointed voice.

"But guys, this is a win-win situation, Patrick asked his crush out finally." Pete said and that's when Patrick opened the door.

"Really? That loud, guys?" he asked while laughing. Patrick looked at you while smiling and you felt your face blushing because his smile was so gorgeous.

"So you had a plan all along?" you teased them and they laughed with guilt. "Naah, I don't mind that, you guys are still the best!" you added.

All of you walked out of the place to have a good night and maybe this can be the start of a good relationship with the guys and Patrick.
